We had a fantastic dinner here, Dad claims this was one of the best pork chops he's ever had, and we enjoyed the rabbit and boar stew too. The lavender crema catalana was especially amazing. We had a very enjoyable evening here with great food and great service.

In the heart of Orvieto, the Malandrino Bistro stands out, reminiscent of old trattorias with revisited Umbrian dishes. Excellent service, courtesy, and attention. Dishes are beautiful to look at and delicious to taste... 👍🏽❤️🍾🥂

We tried several places in Orvieto for lunch or dinner over 4 days and Il Malandrino is in the top two. The Trentanni red by the glass was good too. I say give them a try if the price works for you.

Found this restaurant almost by accident during a quick lunch break. Fast service and friendly, helpful staff. Tasty, original dishes and generous side dishes: I was expecting a small plate of vegetables, but instead... Very well organized for gluten-free options.

Overall this is a great place! The service is great, location lovely, great atmosphere. The food was good, but felt like it could be much better. We ordered a beef tartar with egg yolk and truffles as a starter. This dish has great potential for those who love tartar, but unfortunately the seasoning was just off. Would not recommend that dish for tartar livers because it's just disappointing. The salad with the fried cheese was nice. We ordered two pastas next,that were pretty good (especially the truffle one), however both were very salty. The terramisu was wonderful!!
To sum up, it's a nice place no doubt, but the food can be better :)

Paré para almorzar. La comida y el servicio eran excelentes. Para plato principal tenía el tagliatelle con trufas y el pescado de bacalao ambos excelentes. Muy recomendable.

Ho provato questo ristorante su suggerimento del desk dell’ hotel in cui soggiornavo. Il consiglio è risultato molto utile. I piatti sperimentati sono risultati un corretto incontro trs tradizione ed innovazione. Il costo assolutamente corretto ed in ogni caso non elevato
