The Wizard of Oz Bar has the charm of the pubs we loved in the '90s: sandwich shop, snack bar, and happy hour in a simple, lively atmosphere. Always packed with people of all ages, amidst the greenery of the hedges and the skill of the waitresses. It's not trendy, and that's precisely its virtue. As in The Wonderful Wizard of Oz: "There's no place like home." And this place makes you feel at ease.

The aperitif was delicious and plentiful, and the price was very reasonable. I didn't like the spritz. It was simply a little too sweet for my taste.

A great bar behind Buenos Aires Street in Milan. You can try a typical Milanese aperitivo dinner without breaking the bank. Fried food, pasta, tortilla, paninis... The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. Plus, you can add an aperitivo to any drink (beer, soft drinks). It gets quite busy around 7 pm.

We found it by chance because we were staying at the hotel opposite and it was a very nice surprise! A cozy restaurant (we were probably the only foreigners) with great food, great sandwiches and snacks! We went almost every night. It's very crowded and the service is slow. But everyone is polite so you can forgive that. It also has good prices!

We were looking for somewhere to grab a beer at the end of the day and found this nice local bar. We ordered two beers and, with the Happy Hour price, we got two huge plates of appetizers – which ended up being our dinner, since the portions were very generous. It was a great experience!

The atmosphere was well-attended (no drunk people, etc.)
The waiters were extremely patient and kind... and then the piadina was FABULOUS: I had it with a hamburger and cheese... truly TOP quality.
Last but not least, the price was super affordable and the location was strategic (near the Lima stop on the red line).

I was passing by last Sunday and stopped in with a friend, and I have to say everything was great: the waitresses were friendly and helpful, and the aperitif was good. The atmosphere is clean but a little dated. Overall, I recommend it.
