Today I tried the penne alla arrabbiata and it was better!! Too bad the cooked vegetables, the eggplant, were completely burned. YOU CAN SEE IT CLEARLY IN THE PHOTO.
The bald guy is very kind.

Very welcoming as a place, while the lady at the pizzeria counter made us wait 5 minutes to put away the pizza trays, answering us in a very rude way. I think such a rude person should not really work for the public. 👎

I went to dinner here about a month ago on a weekday with my children and grandchildren and I have to say we had a great time. The ordering system is very functional, the staff is friendly, the food is excellent: we tried the pizza, the carbonara, the fried chicken breast with side dishes, the mixed vegetables (the latter is really a beautiful dish to look at, I ate the pizza but next time I will definitely order those vegetables). When we went, there was no crowding and we were comfortably seated at the table chatting pleasantly. I imagine that on weekends it is quite crowded, but it is not fair to take it out on the staff who are very friendly and competent but who have to deal with the large influx of customers that is always present in this shopping center and with customers who are sometimes arrogant and rude.

I often stop here, at Lupo, when we come to I’Gigli. We always get a few slices of pizza, which is also delicious.
But today we decided to opt for a first course. So we lined up at the cash register and decided to get a first course.
Personally I got some “Gnocchi alla Sorrentina”. Very good! A generous portion, with a good tomato sauce and parmesan. All accompanied by a stringy buffalo mozzarella. Tasty dish, gnocchi cooked to perfection and a sweet aftertaste due to the pepper in the tomato.
I was very satisfied with this dish.
As for the reservation, it is very simple. Just go to the cash register and order what you want. Once paid, you go to the first course counter (in our case) and wait for the operator to take our order. We are given a record that will play when the order is ready. You go back to the counter and hand over the record. Our order is ready to be brought to the table and…enjoy your meal!

The cuisine regarding the first courses is very good and the waiting times are quite short despite the many people and the staff is very kind. The only problem we encountered was at dinner with the meat which was quite raw. Having said that I highly recommend the restaurant but the only thing I would recommend is to cook the meat a little

Dopo 2 anni mi sono ritrovato a visitare Firenze ed il mio primo pensiero è stato il Ristorante "Il Lupo Toscano" nel centro commerciale i Gigli.
Posso solo confermare che Renato è una certezza (Carbonara Top).

I decide to stay for lunch as I am here on a Sunday at midday, the food is good, the service is do-it-yourself, I found a free table otherwise you have to wait a bit, I liked the steak.
