A real gem in Viareggio. This is exactly the kind of place I love. We received a warm welcome from a passionate owner who offered us the daily menu featuring exceptionally fresh fish. The dishes were delicious and generous. Good wine list. The desserts are excellent. And what can I say about the hot rum with chocolate! The icing on the cake is the excellent value for money. Go for it!

We went to this restaurant on Carnival night. The fish was delicious and incredibly fresh. The portions were generous, and the service was truly friendly and helpful. The owner even offered us a rum and chocolate tasting after dinner. We paid a fair price. Highly recommended!

A friendly place, the fish is absolutely top-notch and cooked to perfection. ... The owner, who prepares the food, is incredibly friendly, as is the waitress who serves the tables.... It's better to know this place than not to know it at all!

Excellent ingredients, well-cooked, even the raw vegetables are excellent. Both the wait staff and the chef are extremely helpful. Highly recommended Excellent value for money The atmosphere is slightly dated and the entrance is difficult to spot.

01/03/2026: We tried the generous international breakfast, which was truly excellent and everything was delicious. I can't wait to go back for brunch!!! The wait staff was courteous, and the cakes were fabulous!
26/02/2026: Minus half a star because my engineer boyfriend didn't like the way the ceiling was finished 😂 Otherwise, nothing to complain about. Santa Zita is a tradition, a guarantee. Delicious desserts, strong coffee, and very good tea. The interior is classic; you immediately notice the typical Tessieri tiles.
