The tagliolini with truffles are truly excellent even though this is not the season for truffles. Very friendly staff, minimal waiting times. Price appropriate for the quality of the food.

Excellent place with typical Tuscan specialties. Fast service. Try the tiramisu made with cantucci biscuits.

Our family didn't enjoy this experience. Especially when an awful old man sat at the table next to us and played videos constantly on his phone and then smoked.

Far from the crowds of Siena one day in Palio, the small town of Taverne d'Arbia, very close but a little deserted, offered us the surprise of a real tasty (and reasonable) restaurant with traditional but light Tuscan cuisine: bruschetta and cooked vegetables as a starter, papardelle with wild boar ragout afterwards, friendly service, very good local wines (obviously, in Chianti), it was worth the detour.

We were having dinner there, at a table at the back. The light went out and they forgot about us. I took the sliced ​​chicken... tough and dry, luckily there were vegetables, so I was able to swallow it.

I was in Siena to visit the city again (wonderful for me) and, since I "came long", I searched on Google for a nearby restaurant, after a couple of searches I found "Guido's Place"... .. pure luck.....a cut DOES YOU KNOW impeccable service, the very friendly and truly professional staff, their tiramisu, with cantucci and vinsanto, really good......I swear, I'll be back 👍🏻

Ambiente curato, servizio pronto. Buona la tagliata e le verdure alla brace. Ci hanno offerto anche il caffè. Prezzo decisamente abbordabile.

Locale posto in località Taverne,poco fuori Siena. La cucina è quella tipica toscana, pici da ricordare e poi la ciccia!.... la fa' da padrone. Ottimo anche il servizio sempre cordiale.... consigliatissimo

Osteria delle Catene

24/11/2024: We had the pleasure of having lunch at the Osteria delle Catene in San Gimignano and it was a wonderful experience! Gino and Virgilio are two exceptional restaurateurs: kind, welcoming and professional. We started with a platter of typical cured meats and cheeses, really excellent, and then enjoyed some pappardelle with mushroom and truffle cream, simply spectacular! All accompanied by two excellent glasses of wine: a Chianti and a Vernaccia, both worthy of note. We highly recommend this tavern for anyone who wants to live an experience full of taste and quality. Compliments!
01/11/2024: Very good both in the dining room and in the kitchen! It was a real pleasure!
