Prenotato con largo anticipo (indispensabile), ho cenato nuovamente qui dopo quasi 40 anni. La cosa più bella è che non è cambiato nulla: tanta qualità, cortesia e serenità. Il posto è "misto": si trovano i turisti, i fiorentini, gli stranieri, gli italiani, insomma una bella clientela. In due, abbiamo cenato con un antipasto di salumi, paccheri al cinghiale e l'immancabile bisteca (con filetto); infine tiramosù e panna cotta. Ovviamente la qualità si paga e quindi quasi 170€ senza vino. Veloci nel servizio ma senza mettere fretta. Insomma, nulla di nuovo (e per fortuna!!). Grazie sempre e un pensiero a papà (mi spiace tanto, quante belle chiacchierate abbiamo fatto).

Ambiente agradável, garçom muito simpático, bisteca deliciosa mas não espere uma carne bem passada, o ponto realmente é mal passado por dentro. Achamos delicioso! 50 euros a bisteca para dois. Vinho da casa também gostoso mas a maioria das pessoas pediu Chianti clássico. Recomendo!

Unbeatable dinner, very attentive and helpful staff, exceptional food. They recommended the wine and the amount of food very well. We ordered a bistecca alla fiorentina, the T-Bone steak and it was exquisite, perfect point and quality meat. We also tried a variety of Tuscan cheeses and a pannacotta with chocolate, all HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. We will repeat.

I can't wait to return to my favorite Florentine osteria! Feel those flavors in the air that make you imagine the menu and that you can't wait to taste! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Make sure you make a reservation from the website, before you come. There was a huge queue at the restaurant already before the opening and everyone had reservations - imagine! We chose the tasting menu (family menu) and it was divine! Our waiter was also amazing who paced the serving dishes very well - first 2 courses faster, later courses slower. Everything was divine! You should definitely be openminded to experience “local Tuscany home food” before you come and embrace the restaurant’s style. If you have rigid ideas of “oh this is how you should steak/pasta”, this experience is not for you.The Florentine steak can be too rare for some people but we trusted the restaurant and it was delicious. We had no issues. The dishes and their order are particularly designed and selected purposely. It was an incredible experience, we really enjoyed it. We were super full in the end. The pasta/soup dishes were also amazing. The meringue was the biggest surprise at the end; very delicious. Would definitely come again!

Although it is a restaurant that caters to tourists, you can enjoy delicious meat.
There were two of us, but we were able to finish 1.5kg of steak! (Because it comes with bones, the edible portion is less than the grams shown)
I highly recommend barley salad as it goes well with meat.

We went to this restaurant on the advice of the concergie.. historic place with several rooms but without air conditioners (we asked for the cooler one). Perfectly managed by guys from Lombardy and with efficient staff. As you enter there is the coffee machine area with the slicer and cutting board with finocchiona and raw ham next to it. Fast service but I have to make a note.. You can't pay 29 euros for a sliced steak with mushrooms (I've always been served with porcini mushrooms, perhaps even frozen but porcini mushrooms) with champignons.. it's unacceptable. The pasta is very good, the cold cuts are good but limited.. for €16 instead of a pound if you give a pound and a half nothing happens. The amazing baked potatoes... outside the restaurant next to the entrance there is a small window where you knock and take-away wine is served... I forgot to photograph some of the dishes
