I was looking for a restaurant near the Ponte Vecchio. I was struck by this restaurant first of all for the excellent reviews and then because (never found it) they have a menu dedicated to our 4-legged friends... so I booked... we ate very well and were welcomed with kindness... rating 10!

Very hospitable and delicious food!! Warm and welcoming atmosphere. The Florentine steak is exceptional. Also worth trying are the beans all'uccelletto. Highly recommended.

The meat is delicious, the service is great, and the atmosphere is great.
Reservations are required!
The minimum order for a T-bone is 1.8kg, so it's a bit much for two people.
However, the price was surprisingly reasonable!
Please note that T-bones are only available rare.
The food is excellent. The steak is a bit tough, but it's still edible. The wine is also reasonably priced. Above all, the atmosphere is wonderful. It's a popular restaurant with locals. They don't let you in until the restaurant opens, and everyone gathers in front of the door, waiting.

Fantastic experience at Il Latini!
We had a truly excellent meal from start to finish. The charcuterie appetizer was superb—high-quality products, bursting with flavor, you could tell it wasn't mass-produced.
The pasta dish was incredible, easily the best I've had in Florence. Perfectly cooked, with a generous sauce and so much flavor.
The wine was also very good, and the recommendations were spot on.
And above all, the service was truly delightful: quick, friendly, and unpretentious. You feel right at home in this restaurant; the atmosphere is lively and authentic.
Honestly, if you're in Florence, go for it!

A typical Tuscan trattoria, the beans all'iccelletto and the onions cooked in ash are excellent. The meat is top-quality and truly excellent. The eggplant mille-feuille or parmigiana (they called it both) is nothing special. A huge flaw is not even having packaged gluten-free bread; in 2026, that's unthinkable with all the crowds and tourists that frequent the place.
The atmosphere is very cold. A little more music and a few more smiles or pleasantries wouldn't hurt.

Very nice atmosphere and food! My husband had been there 16 years ago. Family business from generation to generation. The food is still as delicious as it was then! The environment is warm, as are the people. I would definitely go back!

Actually quite a large restaurant, plenty of seating available. We came here for the famous steak but I noticed many people were ordering other dishes. Service was quite slow but otherwise friendly and helpful. Steak was excellent, though bare in mind it's only served rare. Worth coming for the experience!

That was my second time in the place - nothing changes - great, delicious food, good service, nicely decorated interior
Thank you for the Florentine steak experience (even that we didn't manage to end the dish, the size was really big (and we ordered the smallest variant) may be next time there will be smaller options?)
