The place is really nice because it basically has two rooms: the historic one and the former pastry shop. I have to say, the food was excellent, and I'd say the desserts were excellent, but the wait was incredibly long (two and a half hours for 9 people to have lunch). I don't know if it was a coincidence that it was a holiday.

We chose this restaurant because we were intrigued by the possibility of after-dinner access to the Etruscan caves below. As soon as we entered, we were immediately struck by Antonio's courtesy and genuine friendliness, which guided us throughout the evening with food recommendations and wine pairings. The dining room with its stone reliefs has a unique atmosphere. The food is exquisite, from appetizer to dessert. The visit to the underground labyrinth is an unexpected treat. If you're in Orvieto, you must stop by for an unforgettable experience.

Incredible experience! We were looking for a traditional place and found a treasure. The place is breathtaking, with a visit to the underground cellars that left us speechless! The food is divine: local cuisine, with traditional dishes prepared with top-quality ingredients that amazed us with their quality and flavor.
Antonio made the difference: rarely have you found a waiter so knowledgeable, cheerful, super attentive, and so friendly. He recommended the best dishes, making us feel truly pampered. If you're looking for quality, impeccable service, and an extraordinary atmosphere, this is the place.

A nice place with a tour of the labyrinth. Good selection of dishes, good appetizers, and very good first courses. We were full, but I recommend trying the pastries. The waiter was very friendly.

I didn't have lunch at the restaurant, which I found interesting based on the menu, but I did visit an exhibition in the basement, which was created from ancient cisterns and is part of the Orvieto Underground tours.

Excellent hospitality, service, and food.
Thanks to Antonio, who looked after us throughout the dinner, interacted with us very professionally, and was kind to our dog.
The restaurant is located above an underground labyrinth that can be visited free of charge after being their guests.
We enjoyed everything from appetizers to dessert... what can I say: everything was delicious!
A truly wonderful experience with a wonderful, intimate atmosphere.
Highly recommended if you're in Orvieto!

Perhaps one of the best restaurants in Orvieto. The food is exceptional, from the homemade sourdough bread to the antipasti, from the pasta with truffles (wonderful) to the pasta with white wild boar ragù, from the wild boar stew (so tender) to the delicious desserts. To top it all off, a visit to the underground labyrinth is included in the price. Antonio's friendliness, speed, and knowledge are noteworthy!

I tried to visit Hadrian's Labyrinth, but unfortunately I wasn't able to due to some organizational difficulties. The website listed access times, but it wasn't clear whether they were a fixed time or a time slot. Furthermore, the access point to the labyrinth wasn't clearly marked, so I decided to go in person.
When I arrived, I tried to enter the restaurant, which apparently is the only access point to the labyrinth. However, the first time I entered, there was no one there, and I didn't know what to do. I returned an hour and a half later, intending to stay for lunch and thus gain free access to the labyrinth, but they refused me a table because we were a couple and they only had large tables left, for 5 or 7 people.
It's a shame, because I'd heard great things about Hadrian's Labyrinth and would have loved to visit. I hope they improve the communication on their website and provide clearer access directions, so other visitors don't have the same experience I did.
