Clean and well-kept, the atmosphere is good, and the fresh homemade pasta is excellent. The owner is very friendly, and the labyrinth below the restaurant, which we visited after lunch, is beautiful.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a friendly & lively vibe. Service was both efficient and genuinely engaging. Our party of four was well taken care of, and they were especially attentive to a gluten allergy, ensuring thoughtful accommodations.
The truffle soft egg was a highlight - flavorful, and beautifully presented. Desserts were outstanding, and the pastry chef even came out to chat, showing genuine care, especially toward our guest with a gluten allergy. They provided gluten-free bread without hesitation, which was a thoughtful touch. Prices were very reasonable, especially considering the added bonus of being able to explore the atmospheric, maze-like cellars beneath the restaurant after your meal. A memorable experience all around.

We came here looking for a good dinner that wasn't right on the main street through old town. We didn't have reservations, but showed up when they opened and they were able to accommodate a table for 2. The food was amazing, the wine suggestions were spot on, and the dessert that they recommended was among the best we had in Italy, the cherry reduction was amazing. We were so happy with the meal and the experience! We were leaving when our waiter asked us if we wanted to visit the cellar, about which we had no idea. We were overwhelmed with the scale of THAT experience. The caves were amazing and we spent another hour after dinner wandering around in the cool tunnels and rooms. Such an amazing surprise, and nice and cool after a hot summer day! Best experience ever. Cannot recommend more highly. Do not miss this experience in Orvieto.

Last night was my first time at this restaurant. Everything was perfect: the welcome, kindness, professionalism, and excellent food prepared by Maurizio.
The beef tongue with purple cabbage and salsa verde was one of the best dishes I've ever tasted. Congratulations!

Abbiamo scelto questo locale prima per le recensioni sulla cucina e poi per quello che era scritto sulla visita del labirinto. Siamo stati bene sia come sevizio, cameriere simpaticissimo, sia come qualità dei piatti. Poi alla fine c'è la visita in autonomia del labirinto sotterraneo, anche indicato sulla carta di Orvieto. Davvero interessante.

Pranzo nel centro storico di Orvieto, in un locale davvero particolare: al termine del pasto è possibile visitare gli affascinanti sotterranei, dove si trovano grotte con fossili e reperti archeologici.
Il menù propone una buona varietà di antipasti tipici. Noi abbiamo assaggiato l’uovo al tartufo, davvero buono, e la mortadella grigliata, gustosa e servita con focaccia.
Per la portata principale scelgo gli umbrichelli con ragù bianco di cinghiale, mentre gli altri commensali optano per tagliatelle con ragù bianco di coniglio, olive taggiasche e parmigiano. Entrambe le paste si presentano in maniera semplice: il cinghiale ha un sapore piuttosto delicato, mentre il ragù di coniglio risulta un po’ asciutto.
Concludiamo con una piccola cheesecake al mango, anche se il gusto ricordava più il caramello che il mango.
Il conto finale è risultato sopra la media e, nel complesso, il mio giudizio è sufficiente.
