This is simply the best restaurant of my entire vacation in Italy. Arrived a little late, the welcome and service was friendly and efficient. Very decent portions, perfect cooking, and affordable prices. An address to highly recommend!

Unexpected fabulous discovery! Humble place with a wonderful view of the Chianti hills: it offers simple but excellent traditional dishes. More than honest price and family treatment. We took macaroni with wild boar ragù and 1.2kg of Fiorentina accompanied by cannellini beans and tomatoes. The Florentine steak was a great surprise: quality meat, excellently cooked, and much better even than decidedly more renowned restaurants. Especially for the low price. The pasta was also fabulous. House wine and water, fresh sorbet for after dinner and coffee: €79 well spent!!!

I had the opportunity to carry out a photo shoot for a baptism in Castelfiorentino. At the Il Gusto e il Tatto restaurant. And I have to say I had a great time. Very kind people above average and the food is really good as well as plentiful. I highly recommend it for any ceremony. whether it be a Baptism, a Communion, a Confirmation and why not even for a Wedding. RATING 5

Locale scoperto al rientro da una trasfera di lavoro. Servizio veloce e buona qualità dei prodotti. Ampio parcheggio e posizione facilmente raggiungibile. Consiglio il millefoglie di melanzane e gli anelli di Cipolla Fritti con Pecorino Fresco di Pienza e Prosciutto Crudo del Casentino. Tutto molto saporito. Da provare!

The place seems ordinary, you can pass it while driving, but the most important thing is inside! Be sure to stop by here if you're on your way. The obligatory dish is lasagne, which is served in a hot dish and its taste is amazing! But after I ordered the Fiorentina Steak... I can safely say that it is the flagship dish of this place!! It is so big that two people can eat it. Served on a glowing tray, of course in the shape of the letter T. It is worth ordering red wine. I recommend ! The photos do not reflect the size and quality. Delicious !

02/07/2024: Super formaggi e super vini per questo piccolo locale in Oltrarno. Personale più che competente e appassionato. Piatti e prodotti eccellenti così come ampia (anche troppo) la scelta dei vini. Francia e Italia a braccetto, l'una a dare all'altro territorio ciò che gli manca. Unico neo la cucina che chiude alle 22, ma stando aperti praticamente tutto il giorno e facendo bottega si capisce.
21/06/2024: Lo descubrinos por casualidad. Hemos pedido una selección de 6 quesos italianos con un extra de dressing de cebolla y de melocotón picante. Buenísimo! Lo hemos acompañado con una copa de vino de Piemonte y otra de Sangiovanni de Toscana. La atención excelente. También es tienda de venta. Para postre pedimos ciruelas al Armagnac y ricotta con flores y alcaparras dulces (¡qué curioso!). Todo fantástico. Es un sitio muy recomendable!
