Il Gufo Bistrot_wine Bar In Pisa

Food is delicious. Wine is so good too. Staffs are so sweet. I want them to recommend the wine and they gave me a really good wine because I really don’t understand which one is the best and I don’t know how to describe it, but the atmosphere was really good. It’s a calm little place in a popular square.

Il Gufo is strategically situated just a 4-minute walk from Pisa train station, en route to the iconic Pisa Tower and adjacent to Corso Italia. The dishes at Il Gufo, including the octopus, tiger prawns, seppie, and desserts, impressed us with their freshness, authenticity, and exceptional flavors. Each bite was a testament to the culinary expertise and dedication to quality. Beyond the delectable taste, the presentation of the dishes added another layer to the dining experience. The thoughtful arrangement on the plates showcased a meticulous attention to detail, enhancing both the visual and gastronomic aspects of our meal. For those seeking a conveniently located dining spot in Pisa that excels in both culinary excellence and presentation, Il Gufo is a highly recommended choice.

Il locale dispone di uno spazio interno e sopra tuo di una veranda esterna ricca di vegetazione e piante che da su piazza Vittorio Emanuele II. In questa veranda esterna erano adibite delle cupole trasparenti illuminate da lucine e riscaldate all’interno con delle stufette. Location intima e calda. Come primo abbiamo preso uno spaghetto con stracciatella e gambero crudo, piatto freschissimo e buonissimo, da 10. Abbiamo preso anche degli strozzapreti con pesto e frutti di mare, anche questo davvero buonissimo. Come secondo abbiamo preso dei tentacoli di polpo che si scioglievano in bocca con una crema di accompagnamento spaziale. A conclusione come dolce una terra di cioccolato davvero interessante e gradevole. Unica nota per il dolce le decorazioni di due gusci di lumaca utilizzati nel piatto che, ovviamente non commestibili, avevano presenza inutile. Posto da rivisitare assolutamente se si torna a Pisa.

This was definitely one of the best spaces I visited in Pisa. From the service to the food, my trip couldn't have ended in a better way. I really regret not having discovered this space sooner, I wish I had tried everything 😍 When I return to Pisa, I will go directly there 🙌

Pleasant experience. A place that seeks out daring combinations and unusual flavours. Sometimes with more success, other times with less, but I believe that the spirit of initiative should be rewarded, and the overall feeling is, indeed, suggestive. Atmosphere with personality, both in the external igloos (even if the heating had only been installed in one at the time) and in the internal room. Prices tend to be acceptable: refined and expensive ingredients are often included, and in the end the cost is not excessive. Quantities that oscillate between satisfactory and abundant, therefore a positive evaluation. The only slightly sour note is the wine. Very good, God forbid, but a rosary that is available on the manufacturer's website for €11 is resold here for over twenty, therefore with a mark-up of more than 100%... certainly not excessive, but perhaps a little expensive... if nothing else was very good. The main flaw was the service: the waiters (and managers at the same time, I think I understand, but I could be wrong), although kind, perhaps made a mistake in delivering the orders to the kitchen, so in our case they arrived together the two first courses and then the starter and the second course (we had taken one starter and one first course, the other a first course and a second course). Nothing very serious, considering that it was a cold appetizer, but worth mentioning. Overall a welcome and out of the ordinary experience, if you like to dare, with the relative risk, this is the right place!

Locale situato in piazza Vittorio Emanuele, nel centro di Pisa, con spazio ampio all'esterno e locale di piccole dimensioni, adatto per una cena di coppia, all'interno. Arredato con gusto, molto raccolto in stile bistrot, con sedute molto comode. Personale al tavolo professionale e molto empatico. Piatti con molte note della cucina brasiliana con sfumature della cucina meridionale italiana. Buona la carta dei vini. Prezzi in media con il livello del locale, ma talvolta nettamente convenienti se prenotati con l'App The Fork. I piatti sono presentati in maniera eccellente, con porzioni generose e con sapori non usuali. Non si paga il coperto (cosa a dir poco eccezionale). Promosso a pieni voti, quindi consigliato.
