Most restaurants aren't open till 19:30 but they're open early, so this is popular. Food is decent to good. Price is reasonable. It's inside a rustic stone house. Nice.

We were absolutely thrilled with this restaurant. The pizza diavola was one of the best we've ever had, and my pasta with tuna and pistachio cream was also delicious. The service was okay, a bit frosty, but almost warm for this region. The ambiance was very pleasant and peaceful.

Our favourite restaurant were close so we decided to go here. Prices are higher compared to others restaurant but food is very average quality, like fastfood. I saw what others had at tables and it was like I do at home plating. Servis was at the beginning very unpolitely saying that they do not do pizza they are restaurant. Why they have pizza on menu will remain as a mystery for me😊. Definitely you can eat better for your money. It's a tourist trap.

I ate at Portico in Polignano a Mare, in the heart of the historic center. The atmosphere is charming, vibrant, and surrounded by many tourists, making it a lively and characteristic place. We had two first courses: orecchiette pugliesi with burrata in the center of the plate. A simple but truly delicious dish, made with fresh, quality ingredients. The burrata was creamy and delicious, making the dish special. The service was friendly and fast, and I had a great time. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy traditional Apulian cuisine in a unique setting.

15/10/2025: Nothing to complain about the food. Truly excellent. Unfortunately (perhaps we were unlucky that day), the service was excruciatingly slow. The waitress and the manager apologized repeatedly for the delays, but without letting us know what was really going on. Even the appetizers (tasting plates and fried food) came out spaced apart and a long time after ordering. The wine was served immediately, but it warmed up relentlessly while waiting for the dishes. We'll definitely be back for the food. Prices are average for the place (now in line with above-average tourist spots).
12/10/2025: The most delicious food in Monopoli with extremely friendly staff! Every dish was full of flavor, beautifully presented, and made with care. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming - we felt right at home. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Monopoli!
