This is our second time eating at this delightful restaurant. The owner was friendly and the service was quick. We had a wonderful meal. Good value for money.

I returned to Grillo Moro with high expectations, remembering the good service from my visit in June. Precisely for this reason, my recent experience was, regrettably, less positive than expected. The service, although provided by three kind and eager young waiters, had a negative impact on the evening. The restaurant was full, and, likely due to their inexperience and small staff, some mix-ups occurred that affected our meal. In particular, the first courses arrived cold, a sign that they had been left on the tray too long before being served. The wine, requested with the main courses when ordering, was brought only after the first courses arrived, an understandable but nonetheless significant oversight in a restaurant setting. There was also a small hiccup with the Florentine steak. As a matter of personal taste, I don't order steaks weighing more than 1.3 kg. I was informed that the minimum cut available was 1.5 kg. I accepted, albeit with some hesitation, but at the table I was served a 1.6 kg steak, cooked decidedly rare. Because it was cooked too raw for my taste, I was forced to send several pieces back to the kitchen for further cooking, as there was no traditional stone grill available at the table that would have allowed us to adjust the cooking ourselves. Fortunately, the evening was balanced out by the tiramisu, which was truly remarkable: well-executed, delicious, and perfectly executed. In conclusion, with a few more improvements in service and attention to detail, the restaurant could quickly return to the levels I remembered. Visited for dinner on November 13, 2025.

Truly delicious pappa al pomodoro! Both the pasta dishes and the meats are excellent. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming.

The real Florentine steak is here... the host and his staff are the best, 15 minutes from Siena, you can't miss it!!!! Spent the right amount too!! The fried rabbit is a must-try and the Torta della Nonna with cooked cream, raisins and pine nuts is amazing!! Highly recommended!!

Everything was excellent! Sublime meats, excellent wines, and superb breakfasts featuring local produce and homemade desserts.

We've been to this restaurant a few times now, and every time we have a truly wonderful experience. The refined yet not overly formal atmosphere makes you feel at ease, and the staff are excellent and fast. The dishes are delicious, and the Fiorentina steak is one of the best I've ever eaten. The appetizers are also excellent, and the wine list is simple and focused on the finest local products. Every time, it's a pleasure. Come on!
