Il Grillo Moro In Sovicille

We just arrived to Tuscany that day and we were so tired and hungry from driving, and we stopped at the first driveway to find something to eat, and it was the driveway to this restaurant. At first I was afraid it was a Michelin star restaurant, and we will not get seated, but they took us in, served us very quickly, made sure to cook a 'special' pasta for the kid. Even though they are known for steak, we had pasta and side dishes of vegetables, and it was amazing. Best ragu and fresh pasta of my life. We will be sure to come back for steak -with a reservation

We had the opportunity to have dinner in Il Grillo Moro twice as we were staying in the accomodation located in the same property. Our experience there was wonderful both times. We would of course recommend the Chianina Steak to share, that we ate with roasted vegetables as a side and were surprised by how tasty they also were. We would also recommend their chianina tartare and pasta, we really got surprised by the tortelli de ossobuco, they were just amazing! Also staff was really attentive and the atmosphere was pleasant. We would definitely recommend the restaurant for a quality tuscan cuisine dinner.

Unfortunately I didn't take any photos but all the dishes were really excellent. Very kind staff, furry friends are welcome. Quiet place a bit outside! We'll be back

What a wonderful culinary experience! Located just outside of Siena in a beautiful Tuscan countryside, the atmosphere is warm and the staff are welcoming. Will definitely be going back to this fantastic restaurant.

From the first moment, I was welcomed with great kindness and a genuine smile, which is increasingly rare. The staff proved to be extremely knowledgeable, especially in their knowledge of wines: each glass was paired with care and expertise, perfectly enhancing the flavors of the dishes. It is clear that behind every recommendation there is passion and training. In addition to professionalism, what makes this place special is the warm and familiar atmosphere. The friendliness of the staff makes the evening pleasant and light, without ever being intrusive. An experience that I highly recommend to those looking not only for good food, but also a sincere welcome and attentive service. I will definitely be back!

It was recommended to us and we were not disappointed. Delicious pics and equally the Fiorentina! The service girls were very kind and cute. The place was really well looked after both internally and externally.

Esperienza da 10 e lode! Non vediamo l’ora di tornarci, e magari soggiornare anche nel loro BB. Staff troppo simpatico e di compagnia e piatti superlativi. Non solo la carne come si può vedere dalle foto, ma anche tutto il resto dei piatti. Abbiamo preso tortelli all’ossobuco, tagliata e faraona.

Ottime materie prime, ottimi piatti della tradizione toscana, prezzi più che ragionevoli. Casolare a Sovicille, nel cuore della campagna senese. Ampia scelta di prodotti della tradizione toscana: qui la carne la fa da padrona. Prezzi ragionevoli: per due portate si spende intorno ai 30€ a persona (ovviamente prezzo differente nel caso in cui si opti per una fiorentina); carta dei vini con selezioni di alcune cantine locali, a prezzi che vanno dai 12€ a salire. Personale cortese e attento.
