Ottimo ristorante..tonnarelli ai porcini...spezzatino favoloso..per non parlare della torta pere e cioccolato...e quella con i frutti di bosco!!!lo consiglio vivamente.

We went to the restaurant for a family lunch. The place is authentic, welcoming and makes you feel like you are at home. The staff were kind, friendly and helpful, and the owner took care of us at every meal. Quality food at zero km, almost all home-grown, what can I say, all delicious! Come in large numbers; you won't regret it 👍🏼

Very welcoming and evocative place, the staff is very kind and knowledgeable. The food is fantastic, from starters to desserts, all delicious, especially the tonnarelli with wild boar ragù. I can't wait to go back, highly recommended place.

Perfect place for a quiet lunch in Calcata. Really everything was super appreciated. All the food was excellent, from the first to the second courses. When we return to Calcata, it will definitely be a fixed stop.

Posto molto carino e accogliente. Titolare cordiale e cameriere Paolo simpaticissimo e professionale. Piatti ottimi dal primo tonnarelli al cervo al secondo spezzatino di cinghiale. Sicuramente da ritornare e lo consiglio vivamente.

25/03/2025: In the immortal words of Homer Simpson "Holy Crapparolly". Went for dinner with my family and the food was awesome! Portions were generous and prices were very reasonable for Rome. Especially love the Tostones.
25/03/2025: Incredible experience at El Maíz! If you are looking for authentic Venezuelan food, El Maíz is the perfect place. From the beginning, the service was impeccable, with a friendly and helpful staff that made the experience even better. The food is simply spectacular. I tried the arepas and the cachapas, both delicious, with fresh ingredients and flavors that transported me directly to Venezuela. I also recommend the empanadas, crispy on the outside and full of flavor on the inside. The atmosphere of the place is cozy, with a decoration that makes you feel at home. Also, the prices are fair for the quality and flavor of the food. Without a doubt, El Maíz has become my favorite place to enjoy Venezuelan cuisine. I will be back soon!

25/03/2025: A delightful location, excellent for business meetings or for an intimate evening, courteous service attentive to customer needs, as far as the food is concerned, everything to say, the parmigiana and the pork chops are absolutely worth trying, tasty and melt in the mouth, the pork-based meat dish with cabbage is excellent, tasty and particular. Price/quality ratio normal. When the quality of the raw material and professionalism come together they give excellent results. For the choice of wine we relied on Roberto, a rather apt choice.. I will have to return to try the first ones.
