Il Goccetto In Roma

This would have been a five-star review if not for one disappointing interaction. While I was sitting alone, a lady took the only available seat next to me. Shortly after, a member of staff (glass cleaner) approached me—not her—and asked me to move. I was simply minding my own business, waiting for my wife to arrive. Ironically, he didn’t ask if there was an issue, nor did he address both of us—just me. I moved, albeit reluctantly, only to find myself uncomfortably close to the person on my other side. I’m not quite sure what logic this chap was operating on, but perhaps he’d be better off polishing glasses rather than interfering with customers. I presume that is his job, as he spent the evening cleaning them. That aside, the bar itself is fantastic. The wine selection is excellent, the food is superb, and the atmosphere is lively and welcoming. The rest of the staff were highly professional, and we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Fun place to have an aperitif. Good wines. Filled with locals on Friday nights.

What a fantastic spot, one of my favorites in a long visit to Italy. Il Goccetto delivers a relaxing atmosphere with great service and a delicious array of plates. We had the Ricotta di Bufala, Burrata di Bufala, and an assortment of Bruschette! Our server helped us pick out a delicious Cesanese di Piglio. Magnifico, tutti! Highly recommended!

A few steps from Campo de' Fiori, this intimate and welcoming venue offers a pleasant atmosphere, ideal for an aperitif or a quick dinner. The house appetizer, with bruschettine, sweet and sour onions and courgette rolls, is surprising for its originality and taste, accompanied by a glass of perfectly chilled white wine. Delicious cheeses and a curated selection of wines complete the experience. Friendly staff and quick service make this Roman corner a stop not to be missed.

The perfect spot to unwind with a glass of wine after a day of exploring. This wine bar offers a quality experience that’s hard to beat. We enjoyed a red and a white—both absolutely hit the spot—and shared the “carne ubriaca,” which was simply delicious. A must-visit for wine lovers looking for a relaxed and flavorful end to their day!

Simply gorgeous. Found by chance and was very satisfied. Excellent quality wines and food. Fair price and good service. Nice and good staff.

We went to Il Goccetto in Rome for an aperitif with five people, but we were surprised to discover that they don't serve cocktails, only wines and soft drinks. The quality of the products was excellent, with dishes such as burrata and anchovies, aubergines, onion, bread and oil (the latter truly exceptional), and a mixed starter with cured meats and cheeses. However, the quantity was disappointing: the starter for five people was extremely poor, so much so that we were forced to order other dishes, which were also not very abundant. The service was courteous, but the experience was not entirely satisfactory due to the small portions. I attach the photo to show you what they mean by an appetizer for 5 people.
