Okay, I ordered the daily menu, which is obviously cheaper than the individual dishes. However, the lasagna was truly awful, consisting essentially of just pasta and béchamel sauce, and almost entirely devoid of any ragù. The waiters were very friendly, and the tables were carefully set with beautiful tablecloths and glasses. The prices were reasonable, although the quality could be better.

Daily menu for €15 with a starter and main course. A varied menu and pizzas. We tried the risotto, a calzone, and a pizza, and they weren't bad, but we didn't love them. Attentive service.

06/09/2025: A stunning refuge with excellent food, both quality and price. I recommend booking. To get there, there's a steep and fairly challenging trail that takes at least an hour, but it offers breathtaking views of the lake. I recommend booking as there aren't many places.
23/08/2025: Excellent, exquisite dishes. We hadn't booked, and they welcomed us with open arms. The service was friendly and fast.

Antica Trattoria Champagne

06/10/2025: It was a truly delightful experience and a lovely surprise, as we hadn't heard of this trattoria, even though we live in Aosta. The dishes were delicious, with a wide selection and top-quality ingredients. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were courteous, friendly, and kind. Highly recommended! We'll be back soon.
