Great restaurant that we visit almost every year!

The restaurant is nice. The pizza is very good, but the Diavola wasn't as spicy as I expected. The grilled fish was a bit dry, but we really enjoyed the house wine. Overall, a pleasant experience, but there's room for improvement.

The food was delicious. Friendly service, excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

Beautiful location, top service, excellent pizza, same prices

After asking a couple of people here in Diamante for recommendations, and both of them recommended this restaurant, we decided to go for lunch. As soon as we sat down, the waiter (also the owner) asked us what we wanted, and when we pointed to the seafood risotto, he cleverly pointed out that the risotto would take at least 40 minutes... so we decided to order two appetizers as well. The mixed seafood appetizer was really good, but the mussels with pepper sauce were inedible, no matter how much pepper was on them. But when the risottos arrived, we realized they weren't the ones we'd ordered, but rather two porcini mushroom risottos! When we pointed out the mistake, they apologized and said they'd remake the seafood risotto right away! What? It didn't take 40 minutes? The only truly nice person was the guy's father, who didn't know what to say to apologize. But since our train was leaving in 30 minutes, we decided to have the mushroom risotto, even though my girlfriend really hated it. When it came to the bill, to apologize for what had happened, they took... guess what? A full €2! I'm not saying they should have given them to us, but at least they should have only charged us for one... right?

We ordered takeout, and the service was fast. The portions were generous and flavorful, and the spaghetti with clams and gnocchi alla Sorrentina were excellent. We'll definitely be back for table service.
