06/07/2025: I was looking on Google Maps for a real traditional restaurant in the Naviglio Grande / Ludovico il Moro area but I only found pizzerias or sandwich shops that passed themselves off as restaurants. Then the illumination: this place appeared to me and attracted my curiosity because it stood out from all the others for its typical gastronomic offer. Without hesitation I headed to via della Ferrera and discovered a corner of Tuscany that took me and my two companions back in time, The place is fascinating, not far from the places of Milanese nightlife but with a more relaxing character, both outside, in the covered garden and in the beautiful and large internal room with wooden tables and wines everywhere. Even more exciting was the variety of dishes that, without overdoing the number of choices, gave a complete sense to the "mood" of the place by offering typical Tuscan tastings of meats and appetizers (such as lardo di colonnata) to lick your lips, but also first courses and side dishes of great tradition. The service is very friendly but professional and perfectly combines customer care and a good dose of empathy, almost like a family atmosphere. Excellent cuisine and the "strong" flavors of the Florentine tradition that are expressed in the various courses. a very small reservation about the environment for the lack of air conditioning, perhaps due to a fault (the place is equipped) but overall very charming. A great regret in not having tried the cuts of meat (Florentine, tagliata, etc.) that are offered for two people and my companions (two "differently young" ladies) did not want to give me this satisfaction. I swear that I will return to try these dishes too and I will give the last missing star...
