The pizza is good. The location is quiet and, in the summer, surrounded by greenery. There's good spacing between tables, and the prices are reasonable, or even excellent for some dishes. The staff is friendly. The blonde Patty, the owner's granddaughter, is excellent.

Everything that comes to mind when I think of an Italian restaurant/ pizzeria. We had the classic pizzas, which were absolutely delicious. Not heavy and doughy but light and very flavorful and extreme satisfying. This is a popular place that has plenty of seating, but yet maintains great service with friendly staff. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a great, authentic Italian meal to try Il Ghiottone!

14/09/2025: We stayed with Villiam and Patty for a few days in early August 2025. We greatly appreciated both the property, with a room that was actually a mini-apartment, and the welcoming atmosphere, as well as Patty's delicious and refined cuisine. Added to this were Villiam's helpfulness and his invaluable advice for our excursions, as well as the kindness and courtesy of the entire staff. A heartfelt thank you, and we look forward to returning. Antonio and Manuela

16/10/2025: Excellent aperitif buffet for the inauguration of my exhibition at the nearby Correggio Museum.
22/08/2025: A summery bar in the center of Correggio. Excellent aperitifs with chips and popcorn; if you want more, you'll have to pay. Nestled in the park, it's perfect for summer evenings.
