Passing by on our way back from San Luca, we ordered a first course, a side dish, and a dessert. Tortelloni with gorgonzola and walnuts, friggione with onions and mascarpone cream and strawberries. Everything was delicious. The service was quick and friendly, and the place was welcoming. Fair prices. Recommended.

We had a wonderful experience at Il Ghiottone on Via Andrea Costa. This trattoria serves traditional Bolognese dishes, with generous portions and fair prices.
We started our dinner with a charcuterie board, followed by a trio of first courses and a Florentine carpaccio with toasted almonds.
I'm eager to return to try the second courses and desserts, the latter strictly homemade, as the waiter emphasized.

Fantastic experience, a restaurant found by chance on the internet...a truly typical lunch, top quality products...tortellini are a must-try, the staff are very kind and friendly...highly recommended

Small but cute place. Friendly and helpful staff. The first courses were so-so, but I wasn't thrilled. The tortellini broth was good, but I thought the lasagna was overcooked. The appetizer and the sliced steak were good. The Bolognese cutlet wasn't as good; it tasted good, but I struggled to chew the meat. The desserts and baked potatoes were delicious. Overall, we had a good time, but I don't think I'd go back.

My family and I booked here for Easter Monday and had a wonderful time! Excellent hospitality with very friendly staff.
The dishes were delicious, typical/local cuisine but not predictable.
I recommend making a reservation since the place isn't very big.

I've been frequenting this osteria for six years now, as my very first review shows, and I can't help but confirm the high quality of the food, the warm welcome, and the attentive service. I'm originally from Abruzzo, and here, and only here, can I dream of being on the slopes of the Maiella, enjoying grilled lamb chops accompanied by spicy, pan-fried chicory. Not to mention the cotoletta alla Bolognese, the exceptional first courses, and the interesting wine list. Thank you!
