We had a great time, the pesto was delicious, and the service was attentive and helpful. I really enjoyed the desserts, some of which you won't find elsewhere; they're original and made with local Ligurian ingredients. The only small flaw was the ravioli au tuccu served with plain tomato sauce, but since we didn't have much time to clear the table, we didn't return it. I have to admit, they were absolutely delicious, despite that.

A very nice and welcoming place, with a genuine, family atmosphere. The staff is friendly and helpful, although sometimes a bit rushed when clearing the table, which is understandable given the lively atmosphere.
The fried tripe was truly excellent, light and pleasantly soft on the inside. The pesto, very good, served in a small mortar, accompanied by mixed bread, was a much-appreciated welcome dish.
Fried Genoese frisceü: unfortunately, they were rather lukewarm and not crispy, but still good.
The eggs in the condigiun were slightly overcooked, resulting in some oxidation, and the portion of the "Strosciata" cake was rather small for the price.
Overall, however, a positive experience, with traditional dishes prepared with care and quality ingredients. Good value for money.

I want to start by saying we appreciated the staff who served us. The noise was well known, but the sloppiness is something we need to address.
If you skip a couple of starters from your order, and find someone at your table eating minestrone before the appetizer, and you, the restaurateur, can't think of anything better for the other starter than keeping it in the kitchen and bringing it back cold, we're far from the kind of articles in the international press. We made a flag bet, and we would have won. You don't expect a steaming plate of trofie from the kitchen, but at least keep "mine" warm. Although, in the middle of lunchtime, I don't think it's difficult to pass around a pesto-filled starter for the lucky person waiting.
