Albese superlative, it's been years since I've eaten one as good as this! For the photo I remembered halfway, because it was too inviting! 😂 Recommended by motorbike, beautiful road to get there.

The town of Albugnano is a panoramic place, the view of the Alps is 360 degrees. The Gelsomino restaurant is welcoming, tidy, the waitresses are kind. Good food at fair prices.

Magnificent view from the terrace used as a dining room, it is open laterally, the restaurant is located in the town center easily accessible with parking. the food, excellent appetizers, the first courses less so, the tajarin with asparagus, 2 in number, very watery, the gnocchi al castel magno good but the sauce could have been thicker. Good desserts, perhaps the warm zabaglione.... Quick, friendly service, fair prices.

We went on Saturday and had two good toasts with excellent fillings, a coke and two delicious desserts. In the evening, an evening of appetizers and desserts of all sorts was planned, "La Golosona". It's a shame we couldn't stay there for this event. Courtesy and friendliness especially from the owner. . . Another gem from our Piedmont! Congratulations!!!

17/08/2025: Lunch in a scorching 17.8. Excellent quality ingredients, excellent presentation, well-balanced portions for the €25 tasting menu. Recommended. The owner and waitress, who handled table service, orders, and cash register all by themselves, put in a great effort, with the restaurant packed both inside and out. Compliments to the chef, and our appreciation, because it's not easy managing everything with young people who disdain offers of work in the restaurant business. Reservations are recommended, as is the rest of the restaurant. Well done, go ahead, be proud!!!!
31/07/2025: What a surprising little restaurant in the heart of Nizza Monferrato! We had the smaller €25 menu. It started with a delicious, surprising amuse-bouche from the house. Then we had an appetizer, pasta, and dessert. Everything was delicious and festively presented. We had delicious warm bread and a delicious Dolcetto from their own production. The lady who served us was friendly and professional. All in all, highly recommended!
