Restaurant in the center of Trani. Excellent prices and high-quality food. We primarily went for the peppered mussels, which unfortunately they told us wasn't available because the ones picked that day were too small and therefore wouldn't be served. The waiter, however, promptly recommended other typical local dishes, and we were pleasantly surprised. I would definitely return.

Simply EXCEPTIONAL! Every dish we tasted was an explosion of flavor: everything was well-cooked, carefully seasoned, and impeccably presented. A special mention goes to the roasted octopus—the best I've ever eaten in my life, and that's coming from a Southern Italian accustomed to the authentic flavors of the sea! Tender, flavorful, perfectly cooked: truly an unforgettable delight. Friendly service and a pleasant atmosphere. I recommend this restaurant 100%—a true gem worth discovering.

An experience to remember! I had lunch at Il Gatto e la Volpe and I can only give it top marks. The restaurant is welcoming, with attention to detail, and exudes a familiar yet elegant atmosphere. The menu is well-balanced between seafood and meat dishes, with the freshest ingredients and preparations that showcase the authentic flavors of Puglia. I tasted a truly delicious seafood appetizer and a seafood first course that I still dream about at night. The meat dishes, which my friends tried, were also spectacular: generous portions, excellent flavor, and meticulous presentation. The service was impeccable: courtesy, smiles, and attention to detail. Prices are more than fair for the quality offered. Highly recommended for those who want to eat well and feel pampered. I will definitely be back!

At the suggestion of the managers, I'm adding a text to the evaluation. As for the service, I gave a low rating because the table we were placed at was too close to the stairs. Even one leg of my son's high chair was on the disabled ramp. It may seem like a small inconvenience but in addition to having the chair wobbly throughout the dinner, it becomes a problem when someone has to use the ramp. We were also told that for that evening it was not possible to order first and second courses only after we sat down. It's a small thing but the waiter could have warned us before asking us to fold 2 strollers and place 2 small children in high chairs. As for the food, we ordered panzerotti and they arrived lukewarm and also in terms of flavor, they were not as tasty as others tasted in places in the area.

Abbiamo pranzato in questo locale. I primi piatti spettacolari soprattutto le orecchiette alla crudaiola, fatte con pomodorini freschi. Fritto di pesce a regola d'arte. Personale cordiale e accogliente. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

Nette Atmosphäre. Das Angebot reicht von Vorspeisen, Pizzen bis typischen regionalen Gerichten. Was wir gegessen haben war sehr gut. Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich. Vielen Dank.
