The atmosphere is small but very quiet and refined, with friendly staff. Very good fish and meat dishes with excellent value. The fried fish is excellent.

We discovered it by chance and were completely satisfied. It's a very nice, well-kept place. The staff is extremely friendly. What can I say about the food? It's excellent, fresh, and very well cooked. Recommended.

We celebrated my dad's birthday in this lovely little restaurant in Bassano del Grappa and the experience was really pleasant. The place is small but very welcoming, with an intimate and refined atmosphere that makes you feel immediately at ease. We really appreciated the quality of the food, especially the fish dishes, very fresh and well cooked. The homemade desserts were also an excellent conclusion, in particular the millefoglie, delicate and crunchy. But also the tiramisu and the crema catalana were excellent. The quality-price ratio is excellent, considering the care in the preparation and the genuineness of the ingredients. The location is convenient, close to the center of Bassano, with parking nearby. As small aspects to improve, I would point out the chairs outside, which are made of plastic and a little uncomfortable, especially for a longer dinner or on special occasions. Furthermore, the paper menu was a little worn and I think it should at least be laminated and printed in multiple copies, even if there is a QR code on the table to consult it digitally. These small details do not affect the overall quality of the experience. I highly recommend Il Gatto e la Volpe to anyone looking for a quality seafood restaurant in a cozy and familiar environment.

A culinary highlight in Bassano del Grappa! I absolutely loved Ristorantino Il Gatto e La Volpe. As soon as you enter you can feel the warm atmosphere, familiar, charming and authentically Italian. The fish was incredibly fresh, perfectly prepared and lovingly presented. I can particularly recommend the scallop carpaccio and the prawns in citrus marinade, simply a poem! The service was attentive and friendly, you immediately feel welcome. The price-performance ratio is also absolutely right here. If you want to eat good and stylish fish in Bassano del Grappa, you've come to the right place. I'll definitely be back! 5 out of 5 stars, absolutely recommended

Piccolo ristorante appena fuori dal centro storico, menù prevalentemente pesce. Assolutamente da provare il loro piatto della casa con gli assaggi di (quasi) tutto quanto c’è in menù. Buono il vino in caraffa. Prezzi davvero contenuti.

Sara, we were tired and hungry, but this spaghetti delighted me. The house dish isn't bad either. I had booked 1 month in advance for a weekend away, after reading the beautiful fences. Restaurant with 10 tables, including 5 for around 4 people, so around and not chaotic, which is also why I enjoyed dinner and we stayed for almost 2 hours. The dessert??? A delicate and crunchy millefeuille just like I like it. We are far from Bassano, but I hope to return.
