A very charming and well-kept little restaurant. Nothing is left to chance, from appetizers to dessert, with great attention to every detail. We ate excellent seafood, with every dish preserving the delicate flavor of the sea. You always worry that the next course will take away the flavor of the previous one, but this time we were brave and made it all the way to dessert without regrets!

It's a small place, but the staff and owners are very friendly. The food is very good and well presented. I found the prices a little high, but perhaps the quality of the products justifies that! I'll be back.

The owners and wait staff were very kind and helpful. A truly lovely surprise, slightly outside of Bassano's historic center, but worth a try.

We celebrated my dad's birthday in this lovely little restaurant in Bassano del Grappa and the experience was really pleasant. The place is small but very welcoming, with an intimate and refined atmosphere that makes you feel immediately at ease. We really appreciated the quality of the food, especially the fish dishes, very fresh and well cooked. The homemade desserts were also an excellent conclusion, in particular the millefoglie, delicate and crunchy. But also the tiramisu and the crema catalana were excellent. The quality-price ratio is excellent, considering the care in the preparation and the genuineness of the ingredients. The location is convenient, close to the center of Bassano, with parking nearby. As small aspects to improve, I would point out the chairs outside, which are made of plastic and a little uncomfortable, especially for a longer dinner or on special occasions. Furthermore, the paper menu was a little worn and I think it should at least be laminated and printed in multiple copies, even if there is a QR code on the table to consult it digitally. These small details do not affect the overall quality of the experience. I highly recommend Il Gatto e la Volpe to anyone looking for a quality seafood restaurant in a cozy and familiar environment.

Piccolo ristorante appena fuori dal centro storico, menù prevalentemente pesce. Assolutamente da provare il loro piatto della casa con gli assaggi di (quasi) tutto quanto c’è in menù. Buono il vino in caraffa. Prezzi davvero contenuti.
