This summer, during my vacation, I had the opportunity to dine several times with my family at Il Gatto e la Volpe. The reasonable prices compared to local restaurants, the quality, and the generous portions make this restaurant/pizzeria my go-to place for future visits to Spoleto. I highly recommend it.

I didn't rate the ambiance because we ordered takeout, but the manager and the waiters were incredibly kind: they even offered us a glass of prosecco and a slice of focaccia while we waited.
The pizza, the one with salmon and truffle, was truly excellent; the tiramisu was fantastic, the fried food light and flavorful, and even the focaccia with prosciutto, eaten the next day, was still delicious.

Overall, the food was good and the place was nice, especially the outdoor seating. The €18 set menu was convenient.
The staff were friendly, but the service was a bit slow (perhaps due to the large crowd, given that it was a Saturday night).

Recommended by the owner of the hotel where I stayed, a lovely, well-kept place. We ate outside, and the appetizer was delicious, with many different selections.
The pizzas are a highlight...the Salentina is delicious!!! A base of tomato, mozzarella, and olives, with a fresh burrata in the center, perfect for spreading all over the pizza. I wanted to compliment the girl who served us (Mirea, if I'm not mistaken)—she was always available to answer any of our questions, polite, and very kind.
