Fresh and exceptionally delicious regional cuisine. The service was very friendly and attentive! We had a wonderful evening with delicious food and good wine. We'd love to come back next time we're in the area! 🙂

Il Gallo Giallo è una piacevole scoperta. L’ambiente è curato e accogliente, perfetto per una cena rilassata. La cucina propone piatti ben eseguiti, con ingredienti freschi e di stagione. Ottimi i taglieri, i primi e i secondi, con porzioni giuste e sapori equilibrati. Il servizio è cordiale e attento, mai invadente. Ottima anche la selezione di vini, con etichette Toscane interessanti. Prezzi in linea con la qualità offerta. Un ristorante che unisce semplicità e gusto, da provare e consigliatissimo.

Bellissimo fienile in pietra,finemente ristrutturato,vi si respira l'aria del Chianti e della Toscana,piatti ricercati e diversi dal solito,di ottima fattura.

01/07/2025: Came in accidentally and did not regret it! Very delicious food (local beef, local soup and spinach salat - tasty!), beautiful interior and very friendly stuff and owner. The restaurant became a part of beautiful memories about the time in Florence.

18/07/2025: Had two glasses of wine recommended by the wait staff and cheese. It was all excellent.
16/07/2025: Came here at the recommendation of the hotel we were staying at during summer vacation in Florence. It was a hot day and we did not have a huge appetizer - decided to try the Florentine steak, rabbit Ragu pasta and spinach side. The steak was pretty rare even though we had asked for medium rare and the spinach was tasteless. The pasta was pretty good. Place was quite empty and we had a room in the back which was stuffy. OK experience, not great. Prices were very reasonable.
