Food and staff were truly amazing

Il Galeone, in Marina della Chiaiolella, is a very nice pizzeria, perfect for an informal stop after a day at the beach. The atmosphere recalls the classic Neapolitan pizzerias, simple and without too many frills: it is not particularly modern or youthful, but still welcoming and authentic. The staff is truly the strong point: kind, helpful and very quick in preparing take-away pizzas, which we enjoyed directly on the beach nearby - a simple but very pleasant experience. The pizza does not faithfully follow the Neapolitan style with the classic high and soft crust: it is thinner, flattened and slightly drier, but still very tasty. The simple pizzas or those with anchovies are highly recommended, where you can better perceive the quality of the ingredients. Overall, an excellent choice for a good, fast pizza with friendly and attentive service. Ideal for those looking for authenticity rather than appearance.

We had a wonderful time celebrating our brother-in-law's 70th birthday. Laughter, quality food, and a warm welcome. Superb staff. A big thumbs up from France. Stay as you are! 😉
