We had dinner at this restaurant last night. The tasting menu is a journey through flavors! The blue cheese with white chocolate, the tartare, and the wild boar tortelli were excellent. The atmosphere and service were elegant but not too formal! Highly recommended!

Dinner at SaQua is a culinary journey – a modern approach to traditional Tuscan cuisine, where every bite becomes a small work of art, accompanied by a romantic view of the picturesque town of Montescudaio. This is a place where flavors blend and infuse the atmosphere. The restaurant is elegant, yet cozy. The staff pays attention to every detail of the guest experience from the very first moment. We opted for the tasting menu, and from the first bites, it was clear that this place is driven by passion and immense talent. Local beef tartare with avocado cream, olive powder, and crispy bread flakes – fresh, delicate, and perfectly balanced. Blu di bufala – an intense buffalo cheese accompanied by sweet and sour toppings that created an extraordinary harmony of flavors. Ravioli with wild boar in butter and sage – our favorite of the evening and an absolute hit. The thin, springy dough and rich, deep filling made this dish a lasting memory. Tagliolino with pigeon, blueberries, and a hint of gin and tonic – a bold yet cohesive combination. Pork with puree and apple and plum chutney – the chutney was absolutely fantastic. Pre-dessert: cherry sorbet – intense and wonderfully refreshing Dessert - Hazelnut Namelaka cream, passion fruit, caramelized nuts, lemon meringue Finally, we had the pleasure of meeting the chef, Simone Acquarelli – an incredibly personable man with a passion that shines through in every dish. SaQua is a place you want to return to – for the flavor, the atmosphere, and the people who create this wonderful place.

The location with the sea view is the best; it couldn't be more beautiful. The food is very good, or at least most of it. Some of it is bland, others too salty. But most of it is very good, like the beef tartare or the blue cheese cream or the desserts. The service is attentive but completely inept. Only one lady is knowledgeable and skilled, and can also present the dishes. The value for money is excellent; just over €60 for the tasting menu is practically a bargain. So, with the limitations mentioned above, it's definitely a recommendation.

We had a delicious dinner at SaQua on a thursday evening. Altough the restaurant had many more seating options, it was half full. Great selection of wine, menu is very creative. Over the dishes were all good. Enjoy the seaview from the terrace.

A beautiful evening in this restaurant where everything is taken care of. A modern location with a breathtaking view. Attentive and professional service. Original dishes, well-executed, with a good quality-price ratio and excellent raw materials. An explosion of colors and flavors. Excellent selection of local wines. Recommended experience.

A stellar dinner. The location is beautiful and intimate, with a terrace worth watching the sunset. The service is punctual, impeccable, and very discreet. Dishes truly explode on the palate. We had the 2025 tasting menu and couldn't fault the dishes. The flavors were a combination of aromas and flavors that confuse you, leaving you with a suspended, inebriating taste. The price was definitely in line with the offerings. The only flaw, and it's certainly not the restaurant or the staff's, was a "tableful" of true Tuscans who thought they were in an osteria and spent the entire evening shouting... what a shame, the quiet of the valley would have certainly made the experience even more intoxicating. We'll definitely be back.

Superb setting in Tuscany. Very helpful and friendly staff, fantastic service throughout the evening. My vegan menu was varied and delicious. Not my usual haunt but if you want to treat yourself or others this is a wonderful place to do this. Heartily recommended!
