Great place in the middle of Tuscany out of the mainstream- great views from a village on top of a hill! Great atmosphere created by a lovely family that work hard to provide great food to their customers! Great pizza thin based, homemade pasta and lovely meat dishes! Thanks very much!!!

How do you say it? The climb is tough, but the view from the top is splendid! The breathtaking view from the terrace is the icing on the cake at this delightful trattoria: excellent homemade olive oil and excellent home cooking. Both the traditional Tuscan dishes and the pizzeria are satisfying. The service is friendly and punctual, very helpful and friendly, and the atmosphere is wonderful. Our four-legged friend was also welcomed.

Disappointment at the Table – A Missed Opportunity Visiting this small-town restaurant was unfortunately an unsatisfactory experience in many ways. The first difficulty arose upon arrival, with parking far away and poorly signposted, making access inconvenient. Once seated, expectations did not improve. The service was inattentive: long waits and staff that were not fully qualified, likely understaffed. Despite the rustic ambiance, the table settings were decidedly sloppy, with low-quality tablecloths and cheap cutlery, giving the impression of a lack of attention to detail. The space was overused, with tables spaced too close together and too small to accommodate diners. The portions were modest and in no way justified the rather high prices. Even the dishes, while presentable, failed to impress with either originality or flavor, leaving an overall feeling of blandness. In a local cuisine setting, one expects authenticity and substance, elements only vaguely touched upon here. In short, a disappointment in almost every respect, compounded by a decidedly unbalanced quality-price ratio. It's a shame, because the location has potential, but the management seems to be neglecting what really matters to keep customers coming back: attention, hospitality, and quality.

Amazing experience tasting real local tuscany food! Everything we had was great, the service was super kind and helpful, checking every step of our meal if we were having a good time. I have to say that the “Tripa” was out of this world. Thanks for everything Il Frantoio!
