A very warm welcome and great kindness from the saleswoman, who might even be the owner. I recommend it because it's good and authentic.

You never find bread on Saturdays, so if you order it you have to wait or come back later... maybe it would take a little more planning.

Forno di Matteo is, in my opinion, one of the best bakeries in Macerata. I've been buying their bread, pizza, and other products for several years, and I've always appreciated their quality and their careful selection of ingredients. A few years ago, before going to my uncle's barber shop, I always stopped by to pick up a loaf of naturally leavened bread that he loved. Sadly, he's no longer with us, but that memory remains tied to this bakery. I go there less often now, but their products always leave a lasting impression. Keep up the good work! As I've read in other reviews, anyone can have a bad day. The important thing is to continue to trust a local, artisanal bakery, rather than industrially produced ones where you often don't even know what's behind them. Here, however, you can sense the quality of the ingredients, and the product speaks for itself from the first bite.
