Very welcoming place, excellent food and impeccable service. I was a guest here so I have no idea how much it cost but from the menu, it would seem that the figures are quite reasonable. The environment is really beautiful, the restaurant overlooks a small square located near the Morimondo Abbey. Staff very attentive and always available.

Calories not wasted Refined location, frescoes, crackling fireplace, a beautiful intimate room with comfortable seats. Welcoming, attentive and prepared staff. Seeing us with children they immediately ask us if we want to prepare something for them Starters: tasty cured meats with some particular cuts; other refined dishes, all appreciated. The kids loved the salted butter which tasted like milk Main dishes: we took both fish and meat, all non-trivial Desserts: I took the Sacher biscuit, really very good At the end of lunch I relaxed with the children in front of the fireplace I read several reviews, but I found neither banality in the dishes nor lack of attention from the staff. Glad I didn't give it any thought before deciding whether to come here or not

excellent, excellent experience, I recommend it to anyone who has the chance to head to Morimondo. The place is very welcoming, but above all relaxing. The room manager is suited to the job he does, knows how to involve customers but above all he is very, very, very polite. As for the menu, the ravioli melt in your mouth, a space delicacy; You have to try the cured meats, the flavor is excellent.

Pleasant restaurant, basic but excellent assortment of dishes, described by the maitre in great detail. Good choice of wines offered both by the glass and the bottle. Price range €60/70 acceptable.

Abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante, a pochi passi dall'Abbazia di Morimondo, grazie a due vouchers per Menù Degustazione Gourmet, ed è stata una esperienza molto gradevole. Ambiente raffinato, servizio impeccabile, piatti ricercati e sapientemente cucinati con ingredienti di qualità, spesso di provenienza locale, ne fanno un locale sicuramente consigliabile, anche se non per tutti come prezzi.

Il filo di grano è una locanda dove trascorrere una serata romantica grazie alle luci soffuse e all’ambiente accogliente. Consiglio il menù degustazione che prevede: Antipasto: tagliere di salumi di Cascina Caremma e verdure di stagione in agrodolce. Primo: risotto d’Arborio Bio di Cascina Caremma, zucca , mostarda di mandarino, yogurt e riduzione diamaretto. Secondo:spalla di maiale con puree di carote allo zenzero, cavoli di Bruxelles , sommacco e senape Dolce: pandispezie all’amarena, cioccolato fondente e gelato allo yogurt di capra. Il tutto accompagnato da un buon Nebbiolo annata 2017. Le materie prime arrivano dalla Cascina Caremma, quindi a km 0. Costo circa a testa ( con un buon vino) € 60.

Ambiente molto particolare e accogliente, con personale disponibile e attento, ma sopratutto cibo buonissimo. Da provare assolutamente se si ha la possibilità.

Restaurant avec plusieurs salles raffinées où l'ambiance est très appréciable. Service aimable et discret. Menu : certains plats très savoureux et recherchés, d'autres un peu fades.
