Rustic restaurant located in the heart of Floresta, possibility of parking in front of the restaurant, the restaurant has two floors from the 80s, the wooden environment is very warm, the staff are courteous, they inform us of the fixed menu and we can only accept it, good appetizers with cured meats, cheeses and . Fried tuma, then the first courses! The first course was really superb with the sauce with suckling pig from Nebrodi, the pasta with mushrooms was good, the meat honestly wasn't to my liking, the sausage tasted too much like fennel, but overall it went well. Io e il mio compagno siamo stati clienti di questo agriturismo proprio ieri a pranzo e devo dire che non solo abbiamo mangiato bene (abbiamo scelto l'opzione menù fisso), ma siamo anche stati accolti davvero con il sorriso ed in modo familiare. E' stato bello poter trovare rifugio da tutto quel freddo in un ambiente caldo, confortevole e piacevole per gustare sapori tipici del posto. Abbiamo anche avuto modo di parlare con il cuoco che si è rivelato, sia professionalmente che umanamente, una persona davvero genuina. Grazie ancora! Lo consigliamo assolutamente!!

Simple and good. Let me start by saying that I ate some super porcini mushrooms. We were there in October, on a Sunday. In the village of Floresta the local ottobrata took place, a typical picnic which for me had as its objective the tasting of the porcini mushrooms that the surrounding nature offered. Some locals suggest the Fienile. A restaurant inside a small village. A welcoming, warm and familiar place. A typical cuisine. Il Fienile is that place you are looking for for your Sunday escapade, with friends, family or just to get away from the stagnant smell of the city. A little wine, eating some ricotta and a raw ham that literally melts in your mouth and you feel that feeling of home that was recreated at your grandmother's on Sundays. Go there without any need, you are not going to a starred restaurant. And in its simplicity you find the taste and wonder of its dishes. Everything in order. Everything normal. All good. We'll be back.

Fantastic culinary experience at Il Fienile! Fabulous location, with only fresh food prepared with care and passion by the very friendly owner. We ate an infinite variety of appetizers, homemade macaroni with pork sauce (the best I've ever eaten) and delicious, varied meat. I highly recommend making a stop in this restaurant, especially during the week, to be able to fully enjoy the view of Etna, for a complete experience! Thanks so much again!
