Kind of average. Good location and nice view, very friendly service and amazing meat however i do not recommend the salmon tartare. The mushroom pasta was also mid.

Characteristic Aosta Valley restaurant that scenically reproduces an ancient barn.
The food is as excellent as the service and the friendliness of the staff ready to satisfy any customer request
It's a shame I discovered it at the end of the holiday but I will definitely return.

Really very friendly and local staff with a family atmosphere.
The restaurant is excellent!
The cuisine is not typical Aosta Valley but Sardinian.
The fish is very fresh, the mussel and clam fregola made to perfection, creamy, tasty and perfectly cooked!
The taste of extraordinary goodness!
Correct value for money!
I would go back every night!

We stayed in Staffal (Gressoney) for 10 days, choosing to dine outside the hotel on the first evening. For convenience we chose the "Il Fienile" restaurant which immediately proved to be a welcoming, beautiful and well-kept place. We found an unusual menu for the place.... No Aosta Valley cuisine, but many fish and meat dishes with some variations of Sardinian origin. We renewed our evening choice for the entire holiday, having the opportunity to appreciate the entire menu, thanks to the quality raw materials, cooked with care and simply. In addition to this, the kindness and professionalism of the owner and the staff made us feel at home, helping to crown our experience. Excellent and highly recommended..

Ristorante a Staffal accanto agli impianti di risalita. Cibo molto buono …noi siamo stati 2 sere e ci siamo trovati molto bene. Squisito sia la tagliata di fassona che il pesce.super consigliato. Prezzi un po’ alti ma qui è la norma

Restaurant located at the arrival of the staffal cable cars. Very characteristic and warm furnishings, both in the side rooms and in the main one (which overlooks the car park). The menu is very broad and covers both a more local meat-oriented offering and a more fish-based one (Sardinian cuisine). Pleasant and courteous service. The honorable mention goes to the desserts: excellent, soft and impressive.

Arrivati in questo ristorante perché convenzionato con l’hotel, ho scoperto con piacere che fa cucina sarda con una buona proposta di piatti di pesce. Ho mangiato la fregola allo scoglio, mentre mio marito i gnocchetti sardi con un ragù di salsiccia. La buona cucina associata ad un bel locale con personale super-gentile fa sì che io abbia già prenotato per un’altra cena! Sicuramente da provare
