Il Fico is a beautiful restaurant in the city center. The ambiance is truly lovely. We sat outside for dinner, and it was like being in a small garden overlooking the beautiful piazza. They have a great selection of wines and fantastic food. The staff is so friendly. The food was delicious. We've never had such a tasty tiramisu. It was absolutely wonderful. Thank you to the team at Il Fico for this fantastic evening.

We went to Fico yesterday, November 1, 2025, for the first time. We had a great lunch, and the owners were very welcoming, kind, and helpful. I recommend everyone to try it.

We went for dinner at our B&B's recommendation. Very friendly and good service, delicious menu, and generous portions. We left feeling full.

A truly lovely little restaurant with enthusiastic staff, and although the dishes may seem a bit simple, they are exceptionally delicious. I had the green pasta filled with shrimp cream, oven-baked tomatoes, and langoustine. Delicious accompanied by a glass of Verdeca, a local white wine with plenty of depth. We'll definitely be back.

Only positive reviews. No haters please. I planned to visit Ceglie only a day before leaving. And last night I tried to book a Sunday lunch. Virtually impossible. Everything was full. So I used a technique I wasn't used to. I started walking around. I looked at the locations and the menus. Then I double-checked Google reviews. I went in and asked for availability. Maybe some last-minute changes. But of course, this procedure only applies when you're alone or with a partner. Anyway, back to the point. This morning, as soon as I arrived, I asked the manager of a bar for directions to a quality restaurant where I might find a table. They gave me a name and directions that included a route I decided not to follow. I preferred my Google Maps Street View. And thanks to this choice, I accidentally stumbled upon the first restaurant in the square: IL FICO. I asked Giuseppe, the service manager, if there was availability for two. At first, the usual answer. But seeing how interesting the place was, I insisted and finally managed to get a table. While waiting for a response, I had made friends with a family of English tourists (I'm Italian-American), and they invited me and my friend to their table (a Plan B that came about by chance). My photos may not be quite accurate, but you really need to come here if you want to enjoy EXCEPTIONAL, locally sourced dishes! Thanks to the manager, Pierangelo, for his hospitality. Excellent value. Very efficient service, even when the place was fully booked. I will definitely be back.

Siamo stati qui qualche settimana fa e l’esperienza è stata davvero speciale. Le porzioni sono abbondanti, la qualità delle materie prime eccellente e si percepisce una grande cura e ricerca in ogni dettaglio. Il servizio è stato impeccabile: attenzione massima al cliente, gentilezza sincera e un’accoglienza che ci ha fatto sentire subito a casa , anche la nostra cagnolina è stata la benvenuta, un gesto non scontato e molto apprezzato. Il primo al tartufo era semplicemente superlativo, gli antipasti deliziosi, ma il vero colpo di fulmine è stato il tiramisù della casa… uno di quei dolci che non si dimenticano facilmente. L’atmosfera intima e accogliente completa un’esperienza che non vedo l’ora di ripetere. Assolutamente consigliato!
