Great place to eat after walking around Villa Borghese, very friendly waiter, pretty good food, I recommend it.

We went right after opening on a weekday, the waiter / front manager greeted us. Aftwr we ordered, he gave us (2 persons) a hefty load of foccacia and bread that were amazing.
I ordered the carbonara, octopus secondi and Danish Beef secondi. All were very good. The carbonara was a BIG portion whoch was made with authentic yolk/pecorino sauce and crispy guanciale to top. The octopus and beef was served about 10 minutes after the carbonara. The beef was cooked well medium and the octopus was cooked beautifully (not too tough or slimy).
Overall, great service and food. The wait time was worth it (about 10-15 minutes for primi and secondi each). Would come again.

Food was mediocre at best, had several meals in the same area that were much better quality. Service was poor. Had to ask for things multiple times and still did not receive it. For instance, asked for a new glass of wine twice and it never came eventually giving up. Feels like a touristy restaurant catering to Americans that don’t know any better.

It had a high rating on the fork app, so I decided to just give it a go. The person who appeared to be in charge of the hall took our orders very kindly and took great care of the shared food, even putting it on separate plates. My wife chose the truffle carbonara as her best pick and it was so good that we came back twice. By my standards, the taste is good, but the service and feeling of being treated are so good that I plan to visit again!

Siamo tornati nuovamente e non possiamo far altro che confermare l'ottimo livello del ristorante. Piatti interessanti realizzati con ottime materie prime e ben presentati. Ottimi sia gli spaghetti artigianali alle vongole sia i tortelli con ragù di anatra, nocciole tostate e salsa alle albicocche. Eccellente anche il maialino glassato con miele di Dijion e salsa teriyaki. Carta dei vini ben assortita.
Servizio attento e cordiale da parte di tutto il personale di sala.
Prezzi onesti che diventano molto vantaggiosi con gli sconti TheFork.

Ci siamo recati per un pranzo domenicale in coppia presso questo locale del centro, adiacente villa Borghese, in una giornata di sole che predisponeva ad una bella passeggiata pre o post prandiale.
La nostra scelta ricade su una tartare da dividere di antipasto, ottima; e due primi, uno della tradizione romana mentre l’altro più innovativo.
Nel complesso soddisfatti, il costo è forse un po’ alto considerando che oltre alle cose citate abbiamo preso solo un’acqua e un calice di vino, spendendo alla fine 26€/p.p.
Meglio usufruire dello sconto TheFork, che non abbiamo potuto applicare, essendo domenica il giorno della nostra visita.
