Restaurant with fixed menu at 35 euros with 4 starters, 2 first courses, 1 second course, trio of desserts, a bottle of wine, water and coffee. Typical traditional Piedmontese dishes cooked with excellent ingredients, particularly appreciated are the raw meat and the tajarin with truffle cream. Even the quality bottle of wine. The view of the hills was much appreciated. Absolutely recommended

The Turin section of the National Carabinieri Association of via Sebastiano Beato Valfrè, 5 bis organized a nice trip to Alba on Sunday 17 November 2024 on the occasion of the World White Truffle Fair. In the early afternoon we went to have lunch at this restaurant. I had a very good impression: the restaurant is large and welcoming, the wait staff is extremely kind and the menu is varied with typically Piedmontese dishes. Excellent are the tagliolini with truffle cream, the ravioli with ragù, the braised meat in wine with potatoes, the bunet desserts, ice cream and panna cotta and the hazelnut liqueur. Even the hill where it stands is characteristic. The magnificent wine-growing landscapes of the Langhe are visible and, together with those of Roero and Monferrato, have been included in the List of World Heritage Sites since 22 June 2014.

I took part in a trip from Turin to Alba and my whole group had lunch at this already prestigious restaurant in sight, both for its geographical position, we are in the Langhe, and for the quality of the visible products, all artisanal of excellent quality at reasonable prices. really competitive. What really pleasantly surprised me was the kindness, professionalism and speed with which the "Lunch" service was carried out, even though we were a large number of people. I have experience in this sense, I move constantly, but "Warm and attentive staff" like this, I had not yet encountered. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff, to the Manager and above all to the excellent Association that invited me to participate. I highly recommend it...

Old style Piedmontese experience with a fixed menu (we went on Saturday for lunch) for €35, coffee and water included, round of appetizers with cooked and raw salami, lard (exquisite), exceptional veal with tuna sauce, really good joke, then round with crepes with asparagus (great discovery), tagliolini with black truffle and vegetable plin with ragu (exceptional). If I may say so, I didn't find the same taste and flavor in the desserts and second courses as in the other dishes. But overall a must-do if you're in the area. Highly recommended

Restaurant nestled in the hills of the Langhe, beautiful view. Very large, lots of seating, fast and friendly staff. Good food, plentiful and well prepared, recommended, worth trying

We booked here thinking of having lunch in a typical restaurant with local products. Unfortunately the place has very little to do with the Langhe. Simple place, honest cuisine. It offers lunch menus at 15 euros, deserved for the quantity and decent quality of a typical Italian tavern.
