This was the most delicious restaurant I ate at during my trip to Italy. The risotto was simple yet delicious, and the scaloppine al pepe verde was impressive.

Located in the center of Assisi, a few steps from the Matteotti parking lot, this restaurant is quite large with plenty of seating. Extensive and tasty menu, from appetizers to dessert, including pizza and pinsa with a variety of flavors. Very good food, generous portions, and average, yet reasonably priced. Friendly staff, good service.

Our first meal in Assisi! Table in a corner. Excellent wine! Delicious food and attentive service. We were only English-speaking guests dining there, but friendly staff made this a wonderful experience 😀

The mixed platter, unfortunately, wasn't a platter you'd expect to find in a restaurant... the final pieces of salami were old, and the bread was stale or frozen. The tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms failed... especially after watching the owner eat the porcini mushrooms on display, licking his fingers, and then taking more. In short, for the price, I wasn't expecting much, but at least the minimum.

The pizza was the best I've ever eaten—crispy and perfectly topped. The pasta and appetizer were also excellent. ​The value for money is unbeatable; you really get quality for your money here. ​A special compliment goes to the very nice and friendly staff. ​Thank you for the great food and the friendly service!

04/01/2026: This agriturismo is nestled in an enchanting setting, nestled in the peaceful woods, ideal for those seeking tranquility and nature. It should be noted, however, that access is via a rather rough dirt road, which should be taken into consideration. The property, in terms of rooms and common areas, is average. The staff is very committed, and the young waiter deserves special mention for his excellent availability. Despite this, the overall service requires significant organizational improvement: for example, dishes sometimes arrive before drinks, or guests have to repeatedly ask for essentials (bread, grated cheese, etc.). Breakfast was completely inadequate in terms of the variety and availability of the buffet. Dinner was also a sore point, with prices high for the portions offered and the level of service. This is a place with great potential, which unfortunately is not yet fully realized.
08/12/2025: Everything was fine, the place was kept in good order and in an excellent location. The roads to get there are a bit unpaved.

18/03/2026: Right in front of the Basilica Superiore, this café is a must-see. The interior is a veritable treasure trove of local delicacies, with a truly impressive selection of artisanal products perfect for souvenirs. The café is tastefully decorated and meticulously crafted. Beyond the atmosphere, the quality is top-notch: excellent coffee and excellent breakfasts. A perfect blend of flavor and tradition. Highly recommended!
18/03/2026: This restaurant in Assisi has a very pleasant atmosphere and the service is exemplary. The food was delicious; I can wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful restaurant in the enchanting old town of Assisi.
