What a fantastic place to stay in Abruzzo. Because 'la mamma' had fallen, we could not get food in the evening but that was more than compensated by a wonderful breakfast and refined snacks with a drink in the afternoon. What warm, friendly people. We were really pampered. Grazie mille per tutti.

We loved our stay at Il Duca degli Abruzzi! Beautiful rooms in a lovely environment. Breakfast and aperitivo were both memorable standouts!! Assunta and family are all so welcoming and warm (and her mother is a FABULOUS cook!)

We spent a very pleasant weekend at Duca degli Abruzzi, in Pescasseroli, and it is difficult to imagine a better welcome. The structure is cared for in every detail, very clean, quiet and truly superior category. But what makes this place truly special are the two wonderful women who run it: mother and daughter. They are exquisitely kind, helpful and impeccable in everything. They delighted us with a dream homemade breakfast: freshly baked cakes, artisanal jams, bread, yogurt, fresh fruit and many unexpected cuddles. You can clearly perceive the passion and love with which they manage the B&B, and all this made the stay even more pleasant. Highly recommended for those looking for excellence in the heart of the Abruzzo National Park. We will definitely be back!

An excellent stay! Very friendly and hospitable owners, impeccably clean room, comfortable bed, amazing breakfast! Located just a few blocks from the main town square with parking right up front. Highly recommend!

E sempre un pezzetto di Paradiso! Non ti delude mai questo angolo nel cuore di Pescasseroli. Entri accolto dall'atmosfera di un tempio dei sapori .Mi chiedo ogni volta com'è possibile che non si sentano mai gli odori dei cibi ed ogni piatto che assaggi ti inebria di profumo.E' un altro dei tanti sorprendenti segreti delle due alchimiste dei sapori: le incredibili sorelle che hanno nelle loro mani ,con tanta naturalezza,un'arte antica rivisitata dalla loro fantasia. In sala la direttrice con la sua voce morbida mantiene silenzioso e rilassante l'ambiente e ti racconta con tale poesia i vini da lei scelti che neanche un astemio resiste. Anche il cameriere è garbato e professionale. una serata sempre perfetta ,direi terapeutica .Il tutto condito dai loro sorrisi.

We now consider it our home. Perfect and very clean rooms. Superlative hosts and staff. For the food there is no adjective that can fully explain the refinement, the goodness, the sophistication without ever losing sight of the Abruzzo flavor.

We stayed last weekend at the hotel. It was a unique experience, from the first moment we felt at home. The hotel is family run and everyone is really special. The location is taken care of in the smallest details, super breakfast, clean rooms, excellent position in the historic center of the town and away from the slopes just 7 minutes by car. I will definitely return!

Siamo stati ospiti del ristorante per un pranzo della domenica. A tavola erano presenti anche un celiaco e una vegetariana che sono stati trattati con i guanti bianchi, con un menù dedicato senza trascurare alcun dettaglio. Degna di nota la pasta senza glutine, ottima! I piatti sono tradizionali ma originali, il servizio gentile e impeccabile.
