Ho festeggiato il mio compleanno al Duca, un compleanno importante con ospiti dai 4 agli 80 anni. E' stato tutto perfetto, l'atmosfera, l'accoglienza, la cortesia, la chiarezza e, naturalmente, il cibo. Ottimo per qualità e varietà, non le solite cose ma sfiziosità che hanno incantato finanche i palati più esigenti. Anche celiaci e intolleranti al lattosio hanno trovato "pane per i loro denti" e sono stati completamente soddisfatti. Giuseppe, il titolare, è stato davvero gentile e disponibile per ogni evenienza e Daniele, il responsabile di sala e voce meravigliosa del Duca, ha con il suo carisma messo completamente a suo agio i miei ospiti che, ad oggi, continuano a chiamarmi e ringraziarmi per come tutto sia stato organizzato con cura e professionalità. Grazie infinite anche a tutto lo staff che segue a ruota la competenza di Giuseppe. Creare un team di eccellenza non può che rendere Il Duca un luogo eccellente. Alla prossima!

We have been to this place in the historic area of ​​Giovinazzo several times, each time it is always a pleasure to return because in addition to the characteristic environment, all in stone and arches, nice and welcoming, you can taste many delicacies: grilled mortadella, cutting boards, bombette, mixed roast, sandwiches, scrocchiarelle (like stuffed pizzas), salads, etc. Tonight we were unable to have dessert because we were so full! Everything was excellent, we had a really great time, the owner and waiter were very kind and friendly. Highly recommended!

I cannot help but give a positive review, once again, to this place for the friendliness, kindness and warmth of Giuseppe and his collaborators, Daniele (who knows how to pamper me) and Cristian (a very sweet face, who I call Harry because of his resemblance to the little wizard Harry Potter). I was there just last night with some friends to really enjoy the black forest, we also tried a new dessert, the brownie. Luckily we were well past the 2nd shift and a table became free upon our arrival. Our desire for dessert was pleasantly satisfied 😋. Giuseppe also offered us a small taste of liqueurs. Il Duca always remains my favorite place to go for dinner, for a dessert or even to have a chat, because I always feel at home here 🏠.

Attracted by the many positive reviews we booked a table. The guys are friendly and nice and know how to advise guests. The menu is varied, with a wide choice of appetizers, sandwiches and pinsas. Good organic drinks. Unfortunately, however, we didn't like the sandwiches very much: the hamburger was overcooked to the point of being dry, as was the scrocchiarella, which was really dry. Special mention for the french fries, the frying is excellent, for the special bruschetta seasoned with quality ingredients, and the cacio e pepe meatballs, amazing. You can definitely improve the organization in the kitchen.
