First choice meat (the meatballs melted in your mouth and the paw-shaped sandwich was a real bomb of flavour), excellent quality and service. Highly recommended!

Having found this place by chance and driven by the various reviews, we decided to spend a Saturday evening in this place. The menu offers various dishes, starters, mixed meats, sandwiches and Scrocchiarelle. As an appetizer we had a plate of french fries accompanied by a delicious pulled pork flavored with barbecue sauce. To continue I ordered a p27 sandwich made up of meat bombettes, tomatoes, Stracciatella and vegetables. The sandwich was delicious and plentiful, with quality ingredients that blended perfectly with each other. Friendly and effective staff, clean bathrooms and normal prices. Advised.

The DUKE...never disappointed. I came back after a couple of years. Giuseppe and all his staff are always kind, friendly and prepared. It is a pleasure to be advised and pampered by them Excellent food (also appreciated by my Milanese cousins!). I always come back with real pleasure. Keep it up 🔝

Concerning the evening of August 4th, referring to the previous two reviews, we were present as customers inside the venue. Unfortunately, the inconvenience occurred due to an illness that occurred to an employee in the kitchen. We immediately noticed the owner taking steps to help the employee. It all happened within an hour and a half where the owner had to reorganize the work in the kitchen as soon as possible. We have been there other times and I guarantee that Il Duca has never disappointed us and this concerns both the timing and the friendliness and kindness of the owner and the employees. Alas, we are human beings and not machines and this can happen to anyone.

Abbiamo passato una giornata a Giovinazzo con amici e abbiamo deciso di pranzare al Duca. Piccola parentesi iniziale ci hanno permesso di tenere il nostro cane che avevamo a passeggio con noi. Tutto molto buono a partire dagli antipasti; panini super e buonissimi. Per finire cheesecake e foresta nera dolce super buono con la possibilità di averlo anche senza lattosio. Prezzi davvero onesti e qualità molto buona. Consiglio

Abbiamo assaggiato il panino con le bombette che c'era nella sezione consigliato dallo chef e un bel Tagliere di salumi molto ricco e buono. Purè di patate con salsiccia molto buono. Immancabile foresta nera. Torneremo sicuramente e lo consigliamo. Proprietario gentile e disponibile. Siamo stati davvero bene. Andateci

06/08/2024: I deleted the previous review because it was misunderstood by the owner/pizza chef. Without wanting to create misunderstandings, I express my "non-technical" opinion. Pizzeria to RECOMMEND but... only "one" of the pizzas didn't impress me for 2 reasons, 1 subjective and 1 objective. Subjective reason: for me the sauce was behind cooking (not for the pizza chef); Objective reason: if we talk about the Vulcano with smoked burratina in the center, I found the burratina cold, very cold. And the latter remained cold until the end. The pizza chef told me that to manage the product they keep it in the fridge, and that's fine. I'm not saying it was inedible but the heat of the pizza and the cold of the burratina didn't match well. Does this affect the pizza chef's work? No. Does this discredit the pizzeria? No, it remains an excellent pizzeria. If you don't like the pizza right away, don't make my mistake of keeping it but send it back and explain your reasons. Food is not wasted but if you pay it is right that what you expect is also what you receive. "I wish the pizza chef and the staff much success." I hope the pizza chef reads it carefully because on this side there are no enemies but only customers who taste and sometimes like something and sometimes not. Greetings

06/07/2024: Delicious pizza and wine. We have been several times and the food has always been tasty. Only a few waiters speak English and you sometimes have to wait, but it's worth it.
