I was with two friends and a friend for the first time at this wonderful place, which we found by chance on Google. We were delighted to discover a delightful, welcoming, and beautifully lit atmosphere. All the Christmas decorations were beautiful and tasteful, especially a large tree that occupied a prominent, yet central, spot in the space reserved for the tables. Otherwise, they would have left us a table, so it was a commendable choice! A word or two about the staff: Daniele was extremely kind, professional, and friendly, as were his colleagues. They were all very helpful, even when we had some difficulties with the wifi connection, and were very helpful with honest advice on the menu. We'll definitely be back soon! Thanks guys 💪🥂🍀🫶🔝

I haven't been back in years, but I must say the offerings have remained the same: a mix of the owner's kindness, a welcoming location, and good value. A perfect place for both romantic dinners and evenings with friends; it's located in an old building, which still features a well inside. The gastronomic offerings are extremely varied, satisfying all palates; the same goes for the food, from beers to wines. The dishes are generous, a rare thing these days, but much appreciated. The reservation system is very helpful and very smart. I'll be back more often.

I feel compelled to give this restaurant the highest rating because the food was truly good, the service professional and friendly, and the atmosphere very charming. Speaking of which, I loved the large Christmas tree. It's decorated with finesse and tradition; it's nice to give this symbol a prominent place instead of extra seats. The atmosphere is clean, the food is tasty and plentiful. Bread was always available. Salad was always served with bread, and here it was always present. Well done! All the staff were very friendly. I'll definitely be back.

An excellent place in the heart of Giovinazzo's historic center, located on a side street off Piazza Benedettine. The owner is professional, friendly, and always available to meet customers' needs, as are the entire dedicated staff. You can enjoy bottled and draft beers, appetizers, antipasti, various salads, and sandwiches, piadinas, and pucce filled with a variety of traditional cured meats and cheeses. They also offer excellent scottona burgers, either plated or in a classic sandwich. Highly recommended for the whole family!

We ate very well; everything was delicious, from the mixed meat platter to the scrocchiarella. Special thanks to Miriam for her invaluable advice and for making our evening so enjoyable.

Food is amazing - especially the zucchini parmigiana! Friendly stuff, very pretty places, lots of options to sit outside 😍 definitely would recommend 10/10!

My wife and I are in Giovinazzo for the month, using this location as our hub to visit other sites, towns and villages in the Apulia Region. Last night we decided to try “Il Duca”. Now everyone has there own experience and opinions. Our experience was excellent, the atmosphere was perfect. Our server and host were awesome. Our waitress, who was very friendly, provided some good suggestions and recommendations. Most important the food was great. I had the “grilled mixed meat” and my wife the “Zampina”. Overall our favourite was the homemade “Apulian Bombette”, just delicious. Our opinion... highly recommend “Il Duca”. As we plan to be back in a few days to try the “porchetta” sandwich and more Primitivo wine from the region.

Historic venue. Attentive staff in a special location. Professional. Quality food...excellent value. Must try. Reservations recommended.
