Amazing restaurant and luxurious food.

Just returned home after a truly remarkable dinner. The welcome made us feel pampered and at home even though it was our first time there. The food was truly remarkable; every little detail crowned an experience we'll definitely repeat. Excellent appetizers, superb first courses, and the grilled fish. We were a group of 45 people, we were warmly welcomed in a pleasant setting. The meal was delicious, and the tiramisu was exceptional. We highly recommend it.

Delicious lunch just steps from the lake. A pleasant surprise, all homemade traditional dishes, including desserts. Friendly and attentive family staff. Excellent value for money, highly recommended!

Beautiful pasta and you can have a tasting of three kinds. Grilled meats were very tasty, lovely prosecco on arrival, bottle of Nebbiolo went down a treat. Service with a smile and pistachio liqueur for goodbye, we went away happy! Grazie

We found this little gem of fine Italian dining while staying in its hometown of Lierna on Lake Como. We had a large group and sampled a range of appetizers, main plates, and desserts (starting our meal with a complimentary round of prosecco a few minutes after being seated.) Service was excellent; each course was delivered to the table without long pauses between diners. The homemade pasta and grilled meats were obviously prepared with love and great skill. And the kitchen is in view of every table, a rare treat if you enjoy watching the chef in action. Desserts were lovely, and served with the perfect liqueur pairing. We asked for a wine recommendation and got a great tip on a locally made red wine, which impressed everyone at the table. Sorry, no pictures tonight, so just imagine a meal that looks every bit as good as it tastes. I highly recommend trying Il Crotto for an elegant night out.

We arrived before they opened. And without a reservation. We were greeted warmly and attentively. The place is worth it.

The atmosphere is beautiful, Mr. Gianluigi is the king of the grill... everything is delicious, from appetizers to desserts. I highly recommend it.

Mi novio y yo vinimos aquí dos veces durante nuestra estancia. Nos recibieron inmediatamente con champán/prosecco y pan. El vino merlot de la casa era muy delicioso y barato. Pedimos pasta con trufa negra, pasta cremosa con pesto y la segunda vez que vinimos, ambos pedimos tagliata de ternera y no nos arrepentimos. Para empezar, un buen corte de carne no es barato, y vi cómo cocinaban la carne delante de nosotros por 25.50 €. Venía con estas deliciosas patatas. Recomiendo totalmente venir aquí, pero haga reservas con anticipación, ya que parece estar ocupado cada vez que venimos. No te quedes sin probar el tiramisú.

Wir waren heute zum Abendessen in diesem wunderschönen Restaurant. Zunächst wurden wir unheimlich freundlich begrüßt. Da wir einen kleinen Spaziergang vorweg machen wollten, reservierten wir einen Tisch für in 30 Minuten. Als wir zurückkamen wurden wir sofort erkannt, man hatte uns einen erstklassigen Platz ausgesucht und wir wurden mit Prosecco und einem leckeren Gruß aus der Küche begrüßt. Der Service war ausgezeichnet, zurückhaltend aber stets aufmerksam. Wir hatten eine gemeinsame Vorspeise, die sofort klar machte, warum man sich hier so intensiv hinter die Produkte stellt. Der begleitende Weißwein war hervorragend und nicht teuer. Schön, dass es auch jeden Wein Glas-Weise gibt, sodass ich zum Fleisch einen guten Rotwein nehmen konnte. Das Hauptgericht war exzellent in Qualität und Zubereitung. Hernach noch eine ausgesuchte Spirituose zu vernünftigem Preis. Zu meinem Kaffee bekam meine Partnerin leckeres Gebäck aufs Haus, weil die Kundin hier Königin ist. Ein wundervoller Abend, wie er besser nicht sein könnte. Jeden Cent wert! Toll, wenn die Menschen ihre Arbeit gerne und vortrefflich machen!
