We ate very well, the blonde lady who served us was very kind, friendly and helpful, the quality and quantity were abundant. We will definitely be back... excellent. The pizzoccheri, the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms... tagliolini with venison ragù... polenta and braised meat... the sciat... absolutely to try.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Authentic excellence just steps from Piona Abbey
On my way back from visiting Piona Abbey, I stopped for lunch at this restaurant, strategically located near the intersection, and I couldn't have made a better choice. It was a true gastronomic discovery.

"Homemade" Quality: You can immediately sense that each dish is prepared with love and dedication. Far from the standardized, cheap flavors of many touristy restaurants, craftsmanship reigns supreme here.

Ingredients: Excellent selection of cured meats, fresh and of superior quality.
Value for Money: Truly generous portions and fair prices, an increasingly rare combination.
The menu offers an excellent selection of both first and second courses, making it the ideal stop for those seeking authentic local cuisine.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone passing through the area looking for authentic, timeless flavors. I'll definitely be back!

Easter Monday lunch.
Abundant appetizers and truly sublime cold cuts. Pizzoccheri della Valtellina and linguine with venison ragù were spectacular. The tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms wasn't everyone's cup of tea. But overall, the food was very good. The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. I recommend it.

Excellent value for money. On the main road connecting Piona to Colico, just a few meters from the road leading uphill to Piona Abbey, waiting for the Abbey to open at 2:00 PM (closed from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM).
