Excellent, welcoming, the guys at the top of friendliness!
In realtà ci siamo capitati per caso a tarda sera andando via da un altro locale dove per 1 ora non eravamo mai stati considerati dal personale. Il ristorante è veramente molto carino ed è in un palazzo storico vicino alla Chiesa di San Francesco. Nonostante l'ora ci hanno fatto subito sedere e abbiamo potuto scegliere tra gustosi e ben presentati piatti tipici e rivisitati della cucina toscana (pappa al pomodoro, un cinghiale in umido, pici al tartufo, pecorino fritto intinto nell'uovo). Tutto veramente molto buono. Servizio cordiale ed attento, porzioni adeguate, ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Buona scelta dei vini, anche per calice. Torneremo sicuramente in un prossimo viaggio ad Arezzo.

Tuscan restaurant with excellent typical dishes, cozy and particular atmosphere and not bad service....every now and then something escapes, but nothing irreparable!

Ristorante molto curato e toscano al 100%. Menù con prelibatezze tipiche e dai sapori genuini. Porzioni abbondanti e piatti curati, prezzi onestissimi. Personale gentile, cortese e veloce, davvero i miei complimenti!!!
Abbiamo avuto la fortuna di conoscere e chiacchierare a lungo con il proprietario Maurizio: persona attentissima alla soddisfazione della clientela ed estremamente professionale, è stato un piacere vedere che ancora esistono persone del suo calibro, unico.
Ci ritornerò sicuramente al mio prossimo giro ad Arezzo.

Not recommended and not suitable for large groups. Pastas with a little too much salt. Room with only one bathroom. The first courses arrived together with the second course (shared) 25 minutes after the starter.

With a little delay I want to publish this review for the Covo dei Briganti restaurant. We had lunch here in April during a visit to Arezzo. The staff welcomed us with kindness and friendliness. We ordered black crostini as a starter and since my boyfriend is gluten intolerant we asked if gluten free bread was available for him. Request fulfilled! Then we ordered the shank with potatoes, delicious and the tomato soup which was not on the menu for that day... a super tasty and delicious delight!
The bill is fair and the quality of the food is excellent. I highly recommend it for anyone who is in Arezzo and wants to taste typical dishes.
