Wonderful, unique, and touching place... simple yet heartfelt cuisine. The lady in the kitchen, Grazia, the owner's wife, is alone and prepares excellent dishes. He moves around the dining room with passion and affability, moving between the tables... pure happiness. I'm posting a photo, and it's the view she sees from the kitchen as she prepares the delicacies... lucky them. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

A corner of paradise in the heart of Vasto – My new favorite place I had never visited Il Corsaro, but finally, taking advantage of a day all to ourselves, my husband and I managed to book a table and have lunch at this restaurant, which is, without exaggeration, a corner of paradise. Crossing the threshold of Il Corsaro feels like entering an enchanted place, out of time. We were greeted with great kindness by Mr. Antonello, who looked after us attentively and advised us with passion and expertise. We ate simple dishes, typical of our Vasto seaside: fish cooked with love, in the traditional way, without frills but with a deliciousness that captivates. Sincere compliments to Mr. Antonello's wife, who works true magic in the kitchen: dishes that evoke home, the sea, and tradition. The restaurant is accessible to all, and, surprisingly, the prices are more than fair. In fact, for the quality, experience, and warmth we received, we would have gladly paid a little more. We recommend this place to anyone passing through Vasto: tourists, travelers, but also those who—like us—have Vasto in their hearts. Stop at least once at Il Corsaro: you'll feel like time has stopped in the '70s and '80s, and you'll be left with that rare sense of authenticity. Only 5 stars? I'd give it many more. We'll be back soon: this has officially become my new favorite place.

We had lunch for two at this family-run restaurant with a long and interesting history. The atmosphere was homey, the seafood fresh and carefully prepared. Mr. Antonello welcomed us warmly and professionally, making us feel at home. The location was truly beautiful.

A truly unique place that leaves an impression from the moment you arrive: a farmhouse overlooking the sea, nestled in one of Vasto's most beautiful corners. Il Corsaro isn't a restaurant in the traditional sense. It's the home of Antonello, the true master, and his wife, who cooks with passion and simplicity, as they used to do in the olden days. The ambiance is vintage, from the pots and pans to the crockery, with a slightly disheveled charm, perhaps even a few cobwebs here and there... but everything perfectly in keeping with the spirit of the place. The dishes? Homey, sincere, without frills: you eat like you're at home, and well. Sure, a makeover would be nice, but it might take away the authenticity of what makes Il Corsaro so unique: Antonello's genuine style. I recommend it, but with one caveat: don't expect a classic restaurant. You'll enter a home, and you'll be guests, not customers. And that, these days, is a rarity.
