The cuisine is remarkable, with home-style dishes of excellent quality. The location isn't particularly fancy or trendy, but if you're a fan of good Ligurian fare, come here. The staff is friendly.

Excellent traditional restaurant. The service is helpful and friendly, and they're also very fast! What delicious dishes! My partner and I had bavette allo scoglio and a Livorno-style swordfish steak, both very tasty, and two mini portions of mille-feuille with very fresh custard! The prices were fair. I would only improve the air conditioning, as on such hot summer days, ceiling fans alone aren't much use.

We're in Varigotti, a small Saracen village frequented by those who love the sea and tranquility, far from the upstart Milanese diners of Alassio (for them, there's Prua and Vigna, of course). Excellent seafood and pasta dishes, great value for money. Spaghetti with clams and pesto, and fried food are all there. No-frills but efficient management, just the way I like it. Little chit-chat, but substance and sincerity, and a smile are always there for the customers who arrive.
