We went on Friday, July 18th, and had an excellent selection. The appetizer was stellar. The pasta with squid ink was unique. The pasta with swordfish and eggplant was truly delicious. There were no main courses; we were too full. The quality was absolutely guaranteed. The very kind owners sat down with us to explain the menu. Excellent service. Parking was easy, which is no small feat. The price was fair. We'll be back.

All very good even if thinking of a fixed price menu you might think the opposite. Excellent quality of raw materials, very good self-produced white wine, arancinetto with swordfish and aubergine a spectacle for the palate, I would have eaten a dozen of them, prompt and attentive service and finally Simone, a present and welcoming host and I would add that despite it being a Saturday evening and 5 of us without a reservation, Simone welcomed us and made us sit. Thank you Simone 🙂

Avevo un ottimo ricordo di questo piccolo locale situato in zona tranquilla dove non esiste lo stress da parcheggio. Tipicamente di pesce, il Corallo è un locale in cui bisogna iniziare dalla carrellata di antipasti (tra cui segnalo un tonno in agrodolce indimenticabile) per passare alla classica pasta al nero di seppia (per me la migliore mai mangiata). Per completare consiglio la grigliata di pesce. Il servizio anche di domenica a pranzo è rapido e i prezzi sono nella media delle trattorie catanesi. Consigliatissimo.

Place outside the historic center specializing in fish dishes. The selection of appetizers (cooked and raw) is excellent and varied. The pasta with cuttlefish ink is superior. Quick service even on Sunday lunch.

Pranzo domenicale in una trattoria di pesce "storica" di Catania. Situato fuori dai classici luoghi turistici (siamo in una strada vicino la fine di via Etnea) Il Corallo è un locale piccolino, da anni punto di riferimento per chi vuole mangiare dell'ottimo pesce. Noi abbiamo iniziato con la carrellata di antipasti di mare (crudi e cotti) per passare a dei primi abbondanti tra i quali consiglio vivamente la pasta con il nero delle seppie, una delle più buone che abbia mai mangiato in vita mia. Il servizio è rapido e i prezzi sono nella media delle trattorie catanesi, con il vantaggio di non avere alcuno stress nella ricerca del parcheggio.

Local, intimate, familiar, recommended by people I know and my b&b. But still worthy of anyone, for the passion and authenticity of the dishes offered, for generations and generations! The innovations in the preparations are noticeable, direct and precise, never out of place. In addition to the friendliness and human value rooted in the relationship with the public! EXCELLENT!!!
