Il Coccodrillo In

We arrived in Castiglioncello quite late. Once we reached the beach, we decided to book right away, as it was a beautiful day and there were so many people. The first restaurant we saw was "Il Coccodrillo." We went in, but unfortunately, they told us they had no more seats available. We insisted a bit, and the very kind man found a solution anyway! At 12:30, after a stroll, we arrived as booked for lunch. The place itself isn't very impressive, but since it's right on the sea, the view is beautiful. We ordered a first course, a fried fish, and a glass of sparkling white wine. I must say we were pleasantly surprised: the portions were just right, the cuisine simple and not overdone, the flavor of the sea always present, and overall, everything was very good, even the service was courteous and professional enough. My experience at this place was very positive, and we will definitely be back.

We only had an Aperol and some snacks here. But the view was fantastic. The price includes the view, but it's worth it!

Very nice location. Mixed opinions on the food... but nothing to say about the signature dish, the spaghetti with clams. Delicious! I recommend the spaghetti maestro and the fried pasta, which in my opinion is light and fried just right. The paccheri, on the other hand, are quite dry and not up to the standard of the other dishes.

A place overlooking the sea. We had spaghetti with clams (very salty) and paccheri with mixed seafood. I have to say that the fish wasn't great for me; the dishes were flavorful because they were heavy on sauce. The mussels were small and flavorless, and the caciucco was decent. On a positive note, the place was nice, and I have to say that the wait staff was really friendly. Prices were average.

As far as I'm concerned, the atmosphere is quiet and clean, and the food is excellent. I was with a family whose children were poorly behaved, and despite all this, the owner was patient. So, I recommend the Crocodile.

Very beautiful view practically on the sea, very well-kept place, kind and welcoming staff, proportionate price, a spaghetti allo scoglio and a plate of mezze maniche seafood, two side dishes of grilled vegetables and two half bottles of water 60.60 euros.

Posto perfetto per un pranzo tranquillo e divertente, personale simpaticissimo e super disponibile. Riguardo il cibo anche quello eccezionale , da ritornare sicuramente
