Productos de calidad alta pero precios demasiado altos frente al tipo de comidas ofrecidas (al menos para los platos con mariscos). Por ejemplo, seleccionamos una "meseta" de pescado crudo que por 60 euros era de calidad muy buena pero no tan rica tanto en cantidad como en tamaño de cada artículo.

We had a wonderful taste menu lunch.
We chose the modern option and got interesting interpretation of the lively chef. We like the fact the chef was serving the dishes explaining and having a small talk.
We learnt the fishes source is mainly Sicily and not the lake.
Over all the food was tasty, we got several techniques of the same fish which was nice. We were lacking a bit more of everything the toppings and the sauces to make the dishes and flavours more rich.
For the cold starter we got lumberjack sashimi which was fresh and good but could enjoy more olive oil and tomatos.
For the warm starter we got cuttlefish with Katsuobushi (dried Japanese fish) it was a refreshing topping to the delicate cuttlefish, again a bit more sauce would make it better.
For the secondi we got sea food ravioli which was very delicious.
The main dish was beautiful fried lumberjack which was very tender.
For desert we got a delicious apple pie with ice cream.
All the pleasure with a nice local wine and tip was 100 each.

Small, elegant restaurant in Stresa, with very friendly service (including the chef, who comes to the tables personally) and amazing fish. We had seafood spaghetti and cuttlefish marshmallows, both very tasty and cooked very well. The price is medium-high, but it's worth it for such good fish.

An experience that I will hardly forget. Respect for the raw material, sea and land dishes where the wise experience of chef Franco manages to enhance both parts...let yourself be carried away by the chef's proposed choice in this palatal journey of divine flavours...all completed by meticulous attention to service, thanks Gio...you feel truly pampered.

Apart from a small reservation on the serving temperature of the dessert, the dinner was memorable. From the very delicate agnolotti to the soaghettone with shellfish and seafood to continue with the exceptional prawns and the slice of catch of the day (today red snapper). Worthy of note are the focaccia, bread and breadsticks.
Excellent service provided by the staff but also by the chef.
Prices proportionate to the quality offered.
Dog friendly.
Highly recommended.

What a DELIGHT!! From start to finish, Franco, the chef owner created an experience of a lifetime!! We started with the in house made, fresh Lobser Stuffed Ravioli. It was DIVINE. The light lemon/olive oil drizzle was a palate pleaser. The Langostino, from Sicily, was fresh and DELICIOUS!!! Our wine was a PERFECT PAIRING!! Of course, we could not pass up on the “Franco made Tiramisu”!!! Two spoons, one dessert!! The best grand finale!! Franco thank you for creating a most memorable dining experience in Stresa!!!

What can I say, a dinner that was an experience. Fish cuisine, refined and good dishes, but above all which express the personality of the chef, smart and very friendly. Excellent cellar and excellent suggestions also on the right wines to pair with the dishes. Location in the centre, very welcoming and well maintained. Cost in line, definitely worth it.
