We found this wine shop by searching for businesses in the Porta Nuova area on Google. The place is very characteristic with terracotta walls and the classic wine shop look. The owner Umberto took a liking to us and professionally recommended the wine we could pair with our dinner. Excellent choice of menu with various meat-based dishes. The selection of cheeses is recommended and the hospitality we received was very welcome. Definitely a fixed stop for us when we return to Milan.

19/01/2025: It is a pizzeria with draft beer and restaurant, I would say almost historic in the Niguarda district. It is certainly to be considered one of those places managed with "heart" where not only the manager tries to be attentive to the customer but also the staff. It's not one of those places of excellence, the pizza is not very good by the slice but that's fine, it's always been like that, the dough is certainly made with ingredients of satisfactory quality, the toppings are generally made on the way out and you can eat them always good! Unfortunately the dough "feels the weather" so sometimes if it rains or it's too cold or suddenly hot it is affected, but it's quite "normal" for NON-instant pizza dough! The appetizers (mixed fried foods and courgette flowers) this time were not that great, too greasy and too "breaded" but we came on a rainy day (my great-grandmother always said that if it rains you don't fry and she didn't make a mistake ), normally they are better (yes, it is not the first time we come to eat here). The cuisine is absolutely not bad, the portions are quite generous with simple and genuine flavours, difficult to find nowadays, the meat is always found very soft and well cooked, as are the risottos and pasta, it is not refined cuisine, but whoever comes here it is done to eat, a bit like the cuisine of the "pre-social" times. The "location" is absolutely informal, a bit like a "lived-in" trattoria with the possibility of eating on the veranda, perfect in summer, even if on the street side. Remember that on Thursdays there is the market and parking becomes impossible... What can I say, should we go back? Unfortunately I have to answer YES, it is one of those few places that have remained intact in their simplicity and authenticity, if you could give stars for this entry, they would be 6 out of 5! The prices are quite normal, I would say taste for the ratio quality/quantity/price. Don't give up if everything isn't perfect on the first date, the second time you go you'll change your mind and you'll come back a third, a fourth and so on... All the times I have been here, so many now, I have never complained, maybe a few snorts when in the evening without booking we had to wait a few tens of minutes, but never too long and if it had been, it would still have been worth it and we are always We were warmly welcomed, the service is always fast, even when the room and veranda are full. Recommended dishes: Well, pizza by the slice for sure, then you do it, sit down and watch the dishes go by, take the ones that inspire you, whether it's fish or meat, it's always good! The pizza is also takeaway!
