One of the best culinary surprises during our stay in Lucca. The restaurant is unassuming, open only limited hours, but it's worth planning a visit. We ordered the prosciutto and stracchino appetizer – it was fantastic. I also recommend the steaks – they were some of the best-cooked meats we've had in a long time. The service was also exceptionally friendly. This place is a real find. If you're in the area – be sure to check them out!

When Dallas Versilia we go to Lucca, a mandatory stop is Il Ciancino. Friendliness and excellent food make it one of our favorite restaurants. Highly recommended!!

Found by chance on Saturday at lunchtime, a surprise.... We were out on our motorbikes and stopped to ask if there was room... The restaurant was packed with limited staff, we waited maybe a quarter of an hour but it was worth it. Delicious tortelli lucchesi and a fillet with green pepper that was awesome... Not to mention the desserts... very kind and friendly staff. Highly recommended. Thank you, a hug from Sestri Levante...

12/09/2025: Excellent piadinas at fair prices. It's a shame that the outside seating is very basic, but well-kept, and the paper packaging that holds the piadinas isn't liquid-proof, so the sauces and condiments will inevitably spill onto the table. It's a shame, because a different packaging would be enough to make the piadina completely edible.
06/09/2025: Lots of choice, quality raw materials and, with the "how I want it" option, you can create whatever you like!!
