Excellent place! Delicious food

This place was recommended to us by friends who live nearby, and it didn't disappoint. The set lunch menu offers plenty of choices, the food is good, and the staff is friendly.

A gem in Lucca, we went there the first time on the advice of our host and although the exterior didn't look like much, the atmosphere is super warm, the service exceptional, you feel like a family restaurant with the daughter, the uncle, the mother and it's so precious. We enjoyed it so much that during our one-week stay we went there 3 times! My dad ate the best pork chop of his life (and he's not so young anymore, he's eaten chops), the Florentine escalope and the meatballs are also delicious. The dishes are so well served that we almost have room for dessert while their Catalan cream is really too good (and I didn't try it but my grandmother loved the tiramisu!) the prices are very affordable for exemplary quality! The big plus after the meal is that they have a butcher shop (which has been there for three generations). We took the opportunity to buy some delicious Parma ham, which they even vacuum-packed for us to take back to France. I recommend it 200%.

Slightly out of the way from the city but very solid and reliable

One of the best culinary surprises during our stay in Lucca. The restaurant is unassuming, open only limited hours, but it's worth planning a visit. We ordered the prosciutto and stracchino appetizer – it was fantastic. I also recommend the steaks – they were some of the best-cooked meats we've had in a long time. The service was also exceptionally friendly. This place is a real find. If you're in the area – be sure to check them out!
