03/05/2025: Repeated excellent experience, fresh fish and well cooked and balanced dishes.
26/04/2025: We stayed at La Persiana and, overall, the experience did not live up to expectations.
We chose a Sauvignon by Livio Felluga, good but offered à la carte at €32, a price that seemed a little inflated compared to the real value.
The crudité for one person, served at €32, was well presented, but not very abundant: considering the portion, a more correct price would have been around €25.
The fish at €7.50 per 100g was more or less in line with expectations, but in the end, with an appetizer each, a fish for two and just one coffee, we spent €150. A figure which, in terms of quality and quantity, should have been closer to €120.
In general, the dishes did not leave their mark: there was a lot of butter in both the vegetables and the side dishes, weighing down the flavors rather than enhancing them.
The wine list also has significant mark-ups, probably around 40% compared to the value of the bottles.
In summary, a nice place by the sea, but with a quality-price ratio that needs to be reviewed: for the same price you can also eat better in starred restaurants and bib gourmand restaurants
