Cannot overstate how good the food was. We ordered the ribeye chefs selection and truffle mashed potatoes. Both absolutely knocked our socks off. Best steak we have ever had hands down. Atmosphere was fantastic with it being in an underground basement with stone walls and arches that really reflect the history of the town. Service was excellant as well. Possibly most surprising was that the prices were absolutely reasonable. This restaurant could charge much more based on the food quality and atmostphere. Chef is an artist. Also, not crowded at all. Absolutely must come to this place.

Meat specialty restaurant (don't look for starters!), a wide selection of local and international meats, dinner featuring a shared appetizer, followed by two fillets (perfectly rare) and dessert, and a wide selection of wines. Difficult to book because the phone doesn't answer very often.

Excellent place for Tuscan cuisine. We ordered 1.4 kg of Florentine steak (excellent) and a good Chianti. The place was clean and tidy, and everyone was very friendly. We'll be back!

Excellent steakhouse in the center of San Gimignano. Locals recommended this place to us. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The food is very good, although the prices are slightly higher than similar restaurants in the area. Highly recommended!
