We stayed here for a short stay in and around Siena. It was simply unique, because the owners are truly unique. Always kind, friendly, cheerful, and available to offer valuable advice on where to find local specialties and places to visit, perhaps off the beaten path. Their breakfast is magnificent, both savory and sweet. The savory options are all made with local specialties, from cheeses and cured meats to eggs (boiled, scrambled, etc.), while the sweet options are mostly homemade, including some delicious jams, most certainly homemade. A must-try, but not for everyone, is the "agricultural coffee," as they call it (once you know what it consists of, you can choose!) for breakfast. What is "agricultural coffee"? It consists of a "half liter of red wine" accompanied by tripe. Despite our best efforts, we didn't choose the tripe, and to be honest, we only tasted a small drop of wine, which was good (but at 9:00 in the morning, it's not for everyone...). But a stay with them is ABSOLUTELY worth it, and we'll be back as soon as we can. They're truly excellent and very fair about their prices.

Hospitality, with a capital H. We spent three wonderful days; the room was clean and comfortable. We arrived around noon and began sampling their delicacies and drinking their "agricultural coffee." I would describe the breakfast as super, beyond any expectations. Even our dachshund was pampered as much as we were, and we'll definitely be back. Well done, keep up the good work.

In questo B&B / ristorantino non vi aspettate camerieri eleganti o tavole imbandite con posate d'argento o altro. A farla da padrone è la praticità, l'ambiente alla buona e la simpatia dei gestori. Siamo stati 2 notti in questo B&B ed abbiamo trovato un locale familiare, con tanta tradizione toscana e tanto cibo buono. Le camere erano semplici, pulite, con grandi finestre sul giardino, TV , bagno grande con box doccia, asciugamani e tutto l'occorrente per la pulizia. Alla mattina ci hanno lasciato anche delle bottiglie d' acqua fuori dalla porta, viste le giornate di pieno sole. Ma quello che più ci ha lasciato a bocca aperta è stata la colazione. Oltre alle solite varie brioches enormi, torte di ogni tipo, bevande calde, succo di arancia, il plus era : pane toscano fresco a fette enormi, salumi tipici (salame toscano, crudo, finocchiona etc etc) formaggi, tartine salate con salse milza, tonno, pomodoro piccante, e poi le trippe pronte calde, per noi, una cosa mai vista !! uova strapazzate, vino (che loro chiamano scherzosamente "colazione del contadino"). C'era veramente di tutto tipico del territorio, e appena mancava qualcosa, i gestori gentilissimi accorrevano per ripristinare i vassoi vuoti. Essendo a metà strada tra Monteriggioni e Siena (4/5 km da una parte o dall'altra) molte persone si fermavano per una colazione o un pasto semplice. Lo terremo presente se dovessimo andare ancora da quelle parti, un ringraziamento ai gestori, veramente accoglienti e gentilissimi. Prezzi buoni, vedendo anche cosa costava mangiare a Siena. Abbiamo soggiornato solo una notte in questo posto speciale. L' accoglienza del titolare sig. Davide e dei suoi familiari è stata eccezionale. La colazione molto ricca di prodotti locali è uno dei punti di forza del locale. Provare per credere. Andateci e non ve ne pentirete. A presto
